if you remove your cards from wallet then Apple Pay will stop working.

It is the NFC which you cannot turn off. When you open Wallet, do you have your preferred transit card assigned to express transit?

Hi, there is no way to disable the NFC feature. What you can do is go to settings>Face ID & Passcode>turn off wallet for the lock screen.

Sorry but no. Removed card. Same experience. Apple pay taking over my screen on all ticket/check-in stations. Hence, unable to check in. This is so annoying! Must be thousands and thousands experiencing the same?

Thanks. But when you have a boarding pass in your wallet, you need to present this with an open screen. Hence, why should locked screen options prevent Apple Pay to take over my screen. And why will Apple Pay appear also when I have no credit card connected?
