If your PS5 disc will not eject because it is stuck for some reason, here's how you can get it out. You can try the standard methods and then two unconventional ones.

How to Eject a PS5 Disc

  • Press the eject button on the console. It's the shorter button of the two. When the console is vertical, it's the top button.
  • Hover over the software on the home screen and select the options button, then select eject.

How to Eject a Stuck Disc (Reboot Console)

  1. Turn off your PS5 by holding the power button until the system shuts off completely or selecting Turn Off from the control center.
  2. Boot into safe mode by holding the power button for 7 to 8 seconds.
  3. Try to eject the disc.

If this doesn't work you can turn it off again and unplug all the cables connected to the PS5, wait 30 minutes, and then plug it back in and boot into safe mode.
