SiriusXM just got a big boost to the platform’s future with the addition of something incredibly powerful. The blessings of “the mouse”. SiriusXM has announced the new relationship that has given life to the new Disney Hits radio station that is currently available to all subscribers.

Scouring the web you can find mentions of all sorts of attempts to find Disney music from some of your favorite Disney films and television shows. However, Pandora and other solutions never have anything. Disney has been very specific about how it lets its music out into the world, and for the most part, hasn’t really done anything in recent years outside of going after some of the fans who set up their own streaming solutions through things like Shoutcast servers (don’t mess with the mouse!).

Fear not though as you can now dive into all of your Disney favorites (officially) on SiriusXM radio via the service’s various satellite or internet streaming packages. Officially launched this week, it can be found on channel 302.

It will also feature guest hosts from within the Disney universe, starting with Sofia Carson (Disney’s Descendants) to kick things off with. So this very well might be one of the Disney-est opportunities ever made possible for fans to be able to enjoy their favorite tracks. If it works, you might see Disney offering to buy SiriusXM in the near future like they have everything/everyone else.

So tune in, stick your head out the sunroof while holding a small puppy in the air, and blast the Lion King soundtrack as you drive down your favorite neighborhood roads (or whatever else happens to be playing at that moment in time).

   The Disney channel number was 302. The new channel is channel 133. Therefore, you may need to reload the stations the next time you check in to Disney Hits if you are unable to find it on channel 302.
