Disney Resort Reopening Dates Scheduled For All-Star & Port ...

As WDW has taken a phased approach to reopening attractions, restaurants, and resorts, eager guests have been waiting for major Disney hotel reopening dates at favorites like All-Star Music Resort, All-Star Sports Resort, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter.

The wait is finally over.

That’s right: Today, Disney announced reopening dates for all four WDW Resorts. These are the last four resorts to get reopening dates, and all WDW Resorts will officially be open by the end of 2021.

• All-Star Music Resort: Accepting arrivals starting September 16
• Port Orleans Resort – Riverside: Accepting arrivals starting October 14

When Does All-Star Music Resort Reopen?

The first in this latest batch to reopen is Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, which opens for arrivals beginning September 16.

All-Star Music Resort is a Value resort with heavy sports theming, including a guitar-shaped pool and the Intermission Food Court. It’s a favorite for teams traveling to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

When Does Port Orleans Resort – Riverside Reopen?

Fast-forward a whole month (yes, alas, it’ll be much longer for the rest of these) for the reopening of Port Orleans Resort – Riverside on October 14.

Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is a Moderate resort on the Sassagoula River with easy access to Disney Springs, Typhoon Lagoon, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios.

When Does Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter Reopen?

It’ll take a little longer to get the sister Port Orleans Resort reopened. Expect Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter to be ready for arrivals starting on October 28, just in time for a spooky Halloween on the bayou.

Like its sister resort, Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter is a Moderate resort conveniently located near Disney Springs, Typhoon Lagoon, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios.

When Does All-Star Movies Resort Reopen?

Christmas comes early at All-Star Movies Resort, the last WDW Resort to reopen. We’ll have to wait all the way until December 9 for All-Star Movies to start accepting arrivals.

This movies-themed Value resort is located near All-Star Music with great access to Blizzard Beach and Animal Kingdom.

Other Major Resort Reopening Dates to Know

In addition, Disney just recently reopened BoardWalk Inn and is planning to reopen Polynesian Resort on July 19 and Animal Kingdom Lodge on August 26.
