Dynasty returned to The CW in December 2021 with the first two episodes of the fifth season, which both celebrated the bittersweet Christmas holiday and revealed the fate of Fallon Carrington after that season 4 cliffhanger. But what’s happening with Falliam in Dynasty season 5?

In Dynasty season 4, Fallon and Liam were hit a number of rough patches in their first year of marriage. Between Liam looking into his dad’s past and Fallon prioritizing her work over everything else (among other extracurricular activities), Falliam really went through the wringer.

Without giving away any major spoilers until after the break, Fallon and Liam’s marriage circled the drain and neared divorce before they could even celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Did the pair finally settle their differences or are they headed for a big split?

Although Dynasty fans who keep up with the show on Netflix haven’t been able to view these recent developments for both the series and its core couple, Dynasty season 5 has kicked off with quite the bang, answering all of our burning questions right away. Spoilers ahead!

Dynasty season 5 Falliam update

In the Dynasty season 4 finale, Fallon and Liam appeared to have moved forward and put the past in the past. Of course, that was easier said than done, since Eva created a divide in their relationship and Fallon cheated on Liam with Colin.

After Fallon’s shooting, Liam puts on a brave face and stays by her side. But once she leaves the hospital and hits the ground running with work, Liam finally releases the anger he’s harboring toward her, which arrives in tandem with an infection that puts Fallon in a coma.

When Fallon remains unconscious in the hospital, Liam realizes that he’s as angry at himself as he was at her, prompting him to help wake Fallon up from her coma. Just in time to ring in Christmas, Fallon returns to the land of the living and Falliam turns the page on a new beginning. Don’t RSVP to Fallon and Liam’s second divorce party yet because it’s not happening!

When is Dynasty season 5 on Netflix?

Following the two-hour Dynasty season 5 premiere event on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, the season will return to its usual Friday at 9/8c timeslot on March 11, 2022 on The CW. The fifth season will again consist of 22 episodes and conclude sometime in late spring, early summer 2022.

While past seasons of Dynasty have ended in May, the series isn’t quite back on track just yet. Being so, The CW’s scheduling of the remaining 20 episodes will dictate exactly when the season finale will air and when the episodes will hit Netflix.

Currently, our best estimate for the Dynasty season 5 Netflix release date is June or July 2022. We’re expecting the season to start streaming eight days after the televised finale, though some delays might occur again this year.
