RTENOTITLE

RTENOTITLE
Evolved from: - Evolves into: Dodrio (at level 31)
Locations: Doduo is easy to find. Just look for it on Routes 16 through 18 in any of the three versions. You can also catch it in the Safari Zone in Blue and Red only.
This Pokémon naturally learns the following techniques:
LV 01 - PeckLV 20 - GrowlLV 24 - Fury Attack LV 30 - Drill PeckLV 36 - Rage LV 40 - Tri AttackLV 44 - Agility
Tips: Although you wouldn't guess it from Doduo's outer appearance, this rather common, ostrich-like bird is actually a Flying type. While Flying types are often at a bit of a disadvantage in the later parts of Blue/Red Yellow -- and Stadium, Doduo is a good choice as an early Flying type thanks to good HP, Attack and Speed stats. Teaching it Fly is a no-brainer, but you should also go for Drill Peck (lv. 30) and Tri Attack (lv. 40). At level 31, Doduo evolves  into the more powerful Dodrio. Although it's not as good as the legendary bird Pokemon, Fearow or Pidgeot, the combination of high HP and good Speed work out rather well. Train it it till it evoles into Dodrio, then ditch it once you get one of the aforementioned flyers.

Use Doduo's Flying attacks (like Drill Peck or Fly) against Grass, Fighting or Bug opponents to defeat your opponent quickly. Ground attacks (like Dig) can't hit Flying Pokemon, but beware of Ground/Rock types. Rock Slide and Rock Throw, the only two Rock techniques in the game, are very effective against Flying Pokemon like Doduo. But the quickest way to take down a Flying Pokemon is of course to use an Electric Pokemon or a Normal type with Electric attacks. There is virtually no way an equal-level Flying type emerges victorious from a lightning battle.

This Pokémon can learn the following HMs and TMs:
TM 04 - WhirlwindTM 06 - ToxicTM 08 - Body SlamTM 09 - Take DownTM 10 - Double EdgeTM 20 - Rage TM 31 - MimicTM 32 - Double TeamTM 33 - ReflectTM 34 - BideTM 40 - Skull BashTM 43 - Sky Attack TM 44 - RestTM 49 - Tri AttackTM 50 - SubstituteHM 02 - Fly
OffenseAdvantage: Grass, Fighting, BugDisadvantage: Electric, Rock DefenseAdvantage: Ground, Grass, Fighting, BugDisadvantage: Electric, Ice, Rock
Origin: Although Doduo isn't really a rare Pokemon, it's actually cleverly named after the extinct Dodo bird. Combine that bird name with the word "duo" (meaning "two" -- as in Doduo's "two heads"), and voila! There's your name origin.
