How to use Afterpay on Amazon

While Afterpay is not an official payment provider for Amazon like it is on many other websites. You can still use Afterpay to pay on Amazon. This is done through Afterpay’s single use payment option.

Here are the four steps to use Afterpay’s single use payment option on Amazon.com

1. In the Afterpay app, tap Amazon in the Shop tab
2. Shop on the Amazon website and add products to your cart
3. When you’re ready to pay, go to Amazon checkout
4. The single-use payment details will be automatically filled into the credit/debit card section.

The single use payment option can be used on any store in the Afterpay app which is marked as “In-App Only”.

How does Afterpay single use payments work on Amazon?

When using single use payments, Afterpay generates a unique card number for each transaction. I know it sounds like magic but it’s true. Afterpay’s single use payment option is similar to the Klarna one time card option.
