Projects Driven Technology Teaching for II year students
In line with Keshav Memorial Technical Educational Society (KMTES) vision of providing world-class science and Technology Education and Research to the Hyderabad metro society, we are incubating, enabling "Projects Driven Technology Teaching" across all our three colleges. As part of this incubation, enablement, we primarily identified the following four major primary fields/domains. 1. Biomedical Informatics 2. Agri-Informatics 3.Defense Technology 4.GSoC Projects Each domain will have multiple projects and will be managed by respective Projects mentors, who would drive the Idea Conception, Research and Technology implementation. These projects are global-scale, real-time software development projects providing solutions to needy problems of the domains. These are real-time projects/problems offered by various industries on a variety of domains/technologies. We invite EoI (Expression of Interest) from 2nd year students (with consistent high GPAs in all subjects/semesters), who have passion in hands-on-coding, solving real-time industry problems, application of theory learned in the academics. All the students who have passion to learn, keep abreast of technologies, both front-end, back-end, Full-stack programming, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI/Data Science as needed. Technologies focused on JavaScript/frameworks, Android, Python, C++, AI-ML., Java, Databases, MongoDB and IoT. Problem domains are Biomedical Imaging informatics, Cancer-Genomics, Agri-Genomics, Bioinformatics, CFD, GPU-NVidia C++ Programming, Defence related problems. You will get an opportunity in learning new domains, technologies with necessary software, hardware infrastructure. The selected students should provide a minimum 9-12 months commitment towards the project's development. All of them should be willing to put 15 hours/week (2 Full Time Days/week) for the system development at campus/offline. All the students should ensure that they are consistently maintaining/participating in their scores/activities in the academics. The selected students will be honored with a fixed salary per month, with periodic revisional hike after every 6-9 months, based on their performance and commitment.
