TypDoge Joined Nov 9, 2020 Messages 3 Reaction score 2 I have a legendary silverfish pet which grants me permanent Haste III. It doesn't seem to make a difference though. On my island I can notice the Haste very obviously; my hand swings faster. I don't notice the same thing at the dwarven mines at all and I can't notice a difference. Does Haste actually work in the Dwarven Mines or should I ditch the silverfish pet?

Orqadian SeeminglyV2 FORUMS Member Joined Sep 27, 2020 Messages 1,266 Reaction score 374 basically haste has been changed, instead you just get bonus mining speed from haste, so that means that the haste 4 from god pot and haste 3 from siverfish pet add up so its definitely something to keep.

the reason that you notice the haste effect in private island is because custom mining is disabled there.

Orqadian SeeminglyV2 FORUMS Member Joined Sep 27, 2020 Messages 1,266 Reaction score 374 The custom mining doesnt actually implement the haste effect like in vanilla, with sped up hand movement, it instead adds mining speed which makes you mine faster.
