The ranch spans 2,500 acres and was once used as an apple tree yard.

Previously, the ranch was advertised as a guest house where visitors could stay and soak up the wilderness around them.

Nowadays, the ranch is home to Yellowstone with the crew descending on the property for months at a time to shoot the show.

Season four most recently wrapped filming earlier this year and the ranch booked out for 2021 already, suggesting Yellowstone would be continuing to shoot there for the foreseeable future.

Much like John, two-time Oscar winner Costner does own a ranch but it’s not the one featured in Yellowstone.

Costner has a 160-acre ranch in Colorado which is nestled in the idyllic location of Aspen among the mountains and the forests.

His ranch is comprised of a private drive which extends into a valley with forests while the Roaring Fork River runs through.

There are three lodges which can house 34 people with airy and spacious rooms, according to CNBC.

The ranch even boasts a hot tub, accessed by a trap door in the bedroom, which oversees the breathtaking panorama.

Visitors can also use the baseball field the avid sports fan Costner has built on this compound.

The Aspen ranch was also where Costner tied the knot with his second wife Christine Baumgartner back in 2004.

For an eye-watering price, you can spend time there with a minimum of a week’s stay setting you back an estimated £180,000 ($250,000).
