Does T-Mobile suck as far as data in most places in orange county? I'm debating whether to ditch att for T-Mobile prepaid

Service wise, Verizon is best. T-mobile is so-so in my book.

Verizon is good, and AT&T is pricey.I think T-Mobile has gotten better and so has Metro since T bought them out, I think Sprint and Boost is at the bottom. If you are thinking of getting T-Mobile, what about Metro (one company)?

I've been with T-mobile since like 2000 which is when they were called Voicestream and that hermaphrodite Jamie Lee Curtis was on all their advertisements.T-mobile has great customer support and reasonably priced plans. I pay about $90/month for unlimited everything (minutes, data, text) but since I'm on one of their old legacy plans they do throttle me down to 2G. After about 2GBS of data, contractually, they knock me back down to 2G for the rest of the billing cycle which only happens when I'm using some online media cloud like Google Play or Netflix and downloading a ton of data. Regardless its annoying.Overall their data network I'm not pleased with since I usually get throttled down to 2G and their service for calls in my area sucks a major donkey penis. Anywhere outside of my apartment building I get good-great service.I agree with Daniel J... Verizon has the best service but they're the most pricey.I have been looking at possibly moving over to Ting since I've heard nothing but good things about their pricing structure. However they are on the Spring network which I heard mixed reviews on.

Get the Tmobile prepaid plan. 30 bucks for 100 mins and 5gigs (throttled to dial up speeds after that). It's offered via Walmart or you gotta do some Sherlock Holmes level of investigation on the Tmobile site.

T-Mobile absolutely sucks. Their phones are fine and the reception is okay where I live and travel, but they are constantly making mistakes with my bill and overcharging me. They basically say; well your bill that is supposed to be $94.57 is now $164.93 and we don't know why. You have to pay that amount or we'll turn off your service.I made a mistake with an online payment and accidentally checked the box for the funds to be put toward my handset payment, not my monthly bill. They shut off my phone for non payment and then charged me again for the amount I accidentally paid toward my handset. It was an honest mistake and they literally said "there's nothing we can do. You'll now have to pay your phone bill to have your service restored". That's what I call very shitty customer service. I absolutely will not renew my contract with them and am considering paying the early cancellation fee to no longer have to deal with their bs.

Buying T-Mobile's cell phone service is like buying food at Wal-Mart. It's cheap, shitty unreliable cell service. You get what you pay for when buying from them.

T-mobile sucks, their customer service sucks, and made so many mistakes....the store reps has no idea about the policy, he told me i can unlock my phone in 30 days, but when i called to unlock they said 40 days and also need to pay in full....but some people reported that even paid in full and waited 40 days, they still don't unlock....

You guys are crazy. I run prepaid which runs off T-Mobile. 4g is awesome pretty much everywhere I go. Plus the opportunity of getting paid to have service? No brainer for me. Hit me up if interested in hearing how!

@kush ya. No service will be perfect everywhere. T-Mobile sucked balls when in lived in Huntington harbour. But its amazing where I live and its very good at my work. Even in a 15 story building in the first floor. No dead spots.

I think its funny how a few people claim T-mobil to be good. The fact of the matter is that the majority on here are not happy with T-Mobil. Why are you paying for a service you are not getting?Go with Verizon and you wont deal with all those problems people say T- Mobil has caused them.By the way... Verizon is the leading company in the nation. Don't take my word for it. Google it.

tmobile sucks....they sent me a refurbished phone and the internet wouldn't work and every time i tried to make a call it would tell me i had no network. they wouldn't work with me even though I've been a customer for 8 years with them and they just screwed me. i'm in the process of getting minimum coverage till my contract is over. I've never been more disgusted with a service in my life.

Never go to a T-mobile store. They will rip you off. They will charge you $20.00 for a sim card, which is suppose to be free. I have provided video of how they rip off loyal customers, who upgrade phones and need a different sim card. youtu.be/HJoTRmqDkng
