delca1 How clever is this dog??!! Cute dog puts itself to bed WIN! - YouTube #1 · Dec 6, 2012 How clever is this dog??!! Cute dog puts itself to bed WIN! - YouTube Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions #2 · Dec 6, 2012 My mums dog is adorable. He sleeps on her bed and when they are watching tv and he decides its bedtime he gets up nudges her with his nose and toddles off to the bedroom (its all on one floor). I couldn't believe it when she told me until I saw it myself. He nudged her and then went to the bedroom and when she didn't follow (as she usually would) he reappeared around the corner and just stood there looking confused! My mum told him she wasn't going to bed yet and to come and lie down and he just got back on her lap and went to sleep. It was the cutest thing ever. #3 · Dec 6, 2012 Milo moans and waits at the bottom of the stairs to be carried up. Usually about 8pm, whether we're going or not! #4 · Dec 6, 2012 My older girl Tess sleeps in my bedroom and between 9 and half past she will come to me and sit infront of me and give me the look and give me her paw and then i let her into the bedroom and that's her until the morning:p Bert knows when someone is going to bed somehow even if it's at different times and follows them up but he can't sleep in the rooms for more than 10 minutes as he prefers the couch! #5 · Dec 6, 2012 Milly will sometimes take herself to bed when she's tired. She kows that generally between 10 and 11pm I'll normally go to bed myself so anywhere from about 9:30. She'll come into the room and go straight into her crate and she's there till morning. Earlier in the week I was watching the TV and thought both dogs were on my bed/in my room, then I heard a gentle snore coming from the crate and did a slow, head turn peep into the crate thing and there was Milly, out for the count. Didn't even hear her come in. She did that on Saturday gone too, except instead of taking herself to bed, she waited until I'd closed my eyes, :sneaky2:  then crept in and stuck her freezing cold nose on mine. I've never jumped up so fast in my life  #6 · Dec 6, 2012 Alfie knows, he normally goes to bed after his last walk :) bless him! now to teach molly  #7 · Dec 6, 2012 Yes, when I turn the beside light out in the bedroom he comes round and has a look to make sure i'm in bed and then toddles round to his own bed and settles down for the night :) #8 · Dec 6, 2012 Love that video! :D If I say 'bed time' at night Pixie jumps up and runs to the door for her before bed pee, then runs upstairs when she comes in. If I say it at any other time of the day she looks at me like this :sosp:  #9 · Dec 6, 2012 Ellie knows, at 10:00pm, she'll sit by the door whimpering, do her business and take herself to bed, or my bed, or mum's bed, or ANY bed - Put herself under the covers and sleep. :D:D #10 · Dec 6, 2012 Yes he will come in from his last walk. Ask for his treat then most often take himself off up to bed he prefers to come up with me but he will go up on his own within 15 minutes of coming in from his last walk! #11 · Dec 6, 2012 As soon as the television goes off,Bramble knows its time for bed. He has a squeaky duck he only gets at bedtime. Snuggled up cosy in his basket in the hallway. Never hear a peep until we get up in the morning. #12 · Dec 6, 2012 Tori generally takes herself off to her crate at around 9pm, whenever we're ready for bed we'll get her out for a wee and then say 'bed' and off she goes frantically wagging her tail. She doesn't however like us saying 'bed' at any other time of the day, she'll go and hide anywhere that she knows is difficult for us to get her out of and give us a look that is essentially this :dita: #13 · Dec 6, 2012 Molly knows when its bedtime, cuz she sleeps on the bed with me, I spread the dressing gown out at the top next to me, and she will just lie down on it and go to sleep, as she knows thats her bed. Sometimes, she will watch me getting ready for bed, and will jump up onto the bed and sit where her dressing gown normally goes, as if to say 'get my bed ready then!' #14 · Dec 6, 2012 Yep they whine to go to their sleeping place's. Marty wants to go in the hall on his bed, Bruce wants to go in the kitchen in his bed, Teebs and Britches take themselves upstairs and Kali lies on her doggie mattress in the front room. All soundo and some snoring by 11.30. They start to get restless at 11 ish. Flynn has to be called in from the garden when I'm ready to sleep because he would like to sleep outside, even in this weather. No way could I sleep with one outside though! #15 · Dec 6, 2012 Rio knows! I only have to think "Time for bed" and she'll jump up even if she is in a dead sleep. Its amazing, she never gets up unless I'm sure I'm going to go. I'm a night owl so I often think "I really should sleep now" out of guilt but she wont budge. Once I'm positive shes up and ready! :D I must give off some subtle signs that she picks up.. or she can read my mind  Insert Quotes Post Reply
