Dog the Bounty Hunter returns home to Colorado but continues search for Brian Laundrie

Dog the Bounty Hunter’s hunt for Brian Laundrie continues.

However, the reality TV star proceed with his search in Colorado for the time being due to some physical complications.

TMZ reports that Dog—real name Duane Lee Chapman—returned to his home territory in order to consult a doctor for an ankle injury. Dog reportedly got this injury as he marched through Florida’s swamplands during his search for Laundrie, who’s been missing since mid-September.

For those of you who may be unfamiliar, Dog first burst into the public consciousness with the premiere of the original A&E reality series “Dog the Bounty Hunter” back in 2004. The show documented the real-life bounty hunting experience of Dog and his family and, fun fact, had an opening theme that was composed by none other than the Duke of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne.

Now, Dog appears to be back in action with regards to the highly discussed case of late Influencer, Gabby Petito, and her alleged murder at the hands of her boyfriend, Laundrie.

PennLive previously reported on how Dog has been on Laundrie’s trail since September 27, even making stops at the suspect’s parents’ and sister’s homes in order to see what information he could gain on his potential whereabouts.

The bleached blonde has also sent pointed messages to Laundrie via very public addresses, such as one incident in which he yells at an unsuspecting camera, “Let me have you, Brian. What did you do? You’re living it every night, aren’t you, boy?”

Official investigators such as the FBI have no released any new information regarding the case.
