While the game may not have been your average everyday dating sim experience, players have still went ahead and picked which girl they believed was the best. One of those girls is Natsuki, who this list will cover and talk about why she is and isn't the best girl of the game.

10 SHE'S NOT: SHE COMES OFF AS A BIT ARROGANT

When players are first introduced to Natsuki in the first act of the game, she is shown to be a bit of annoying character. She immediately berates the player/main character and is the exact opposite of the rest of the characters that players meet in the game when it comes to personality.

A few words that many fans use when describing Natsuki are blunt, arrogant, whiney, and prideful. This isn't too far off when it comes to first impressions of the character.

9 SHE IS: SHE'S TSUNDERE

One thing that many gamers and anime fans alike can agree on is the fact that the female characters that fall under the tsundere category are destined to be among/if not the most popular characters in the series they're featured in. This dere category is something that Natsuki falls into as players progress throughout the game.

A tsundere character is one that hides their soft interior and insecurities through a rough and mean exterior. Natsuki is a character that shows this from the start.

8 SHE'S NOT: SHE HAS ANGER ISSUES

Natsuki is the shortest character in the game that's constantly thought to be much younger than she actually is, so it is a bit fitting that she has somewhat of a bad temper.

The Napolean Complex refers to short people that make up for their lack of height with a bit of a bad temper. Natsuki definitely falls under this category as well. For those that aren't a fan of the tsundere type, this might be a huge turn off when it comes to finding the best girl in Doki Doki Literature Club!.

7 SHE IS: SHE'S CARING

While Natsuki may be a character with a hot head, that doesn't take away from the fact that she is arguably the sweetest and most caring girl in the Literature Club.

Despite her angry exterior, Natsuki always shows that she really has a lot of love for her friends. While that love may be hidden under her hot head, it doesn't take away that she is a very caring person.

6 SHE'S NOT: SHE IS A BIT COMPLICATED

One thing that could end up turning off a few players is the fact that Natsuki has a lot of emotional complications, as shown throughout the game.

Natsuki is a very pig-headed girl, and that shows through her constant stubbornness. This adds to her not easily expressing how she's feeling and can sometimes result in her getting really angry and even crying.

5 SHE IS: SHE COMPLETELY HIDES HER SWEETER SIDE

It's shown that Natsuki is almost a completely different girl when she is interacted with outside of a school environment. She is a lot less pushy and annoying, as seen when she visits the main character/player at his home.

During the festival act, a whole other part of her comes out with Natsuki donning a cuter clothing style and her even admitting to her cuteness.

4 SHE'S NOT: SHE IS ATTENTION CRAVING

One thing that the player will find out after getting further into the game is that Natsuki is very hungry for attention and isn't willing to share it with anyone. This is shown when she gets very jealous of the protagonist spending time with Yuri.

After catching him spend time with another girl, Natsuki asks if the protagonist just wants her to suffer and tells him to stop spending time with Yuri and spend all his time with her instead. Of course after this, things take a turn for the creepiest.

3 SHE IS: NATSUKI NEEDS SOMEONE

One important piece of Natsuki's character is revealed after her jealous breakdown and shows that she isn't completely at fault for her faults.

Natsuki is a lonely person that really wants attention. This doesn't make her a horrible person, but someone that simply needs someone.

2 SHE'S NOT: SHE DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE

Much like the other girls in Doki Doki Literature Club!, Natsuki isn't a variable anymore. Once act 2 reaches its end, Monika finally shows what the game's true color is and deletes Natsuki's files from the entire game.

She can't be the best girl if she doesn't even exist in the game anymore– just Monika.

1 SHE IS: SHE'S THE CUTEST

Natsuki is definitely one of the cutest girls in the main cast of Doki Doki Literature Club! She's a short girl with pastel pink hair and pink eyes to match. She's definitely one of the most adorable girls of the game and has a very charming look to her when it comes to design touches.

A part of this cuteness comes from the fact that Natsuki is the shortest girl in the Literature Club. This leads to a lot of characters thinking that she is a first-year student and the youngest of the main group.
