1. Use Video DownloadHelper extension for Chrome

   This extension for Google Chrome will add a button next to your URL bar where you can easily download videos from most of the websites. Unfortunately it doesn't work on Youtube, but it works on Dailymotion, Vimeo etc.

   To change a file format just edit the file extension when the download dialog appears. For example, change the ".mp4" video extension to ".mp3" for audio only format.

2. Download it via "Inspect element"

   This more of an advanced solution and it's worth a try.

   1. On webpage of the video you want to download, right click anywhere and select "Inspect element".
   2. Now, press CTRL + F on Windows or Command + F on Mac.
   3. Now search for the link in the "iframe" tag, if there's no any, search for the link that's ending with .mp4, .mov or some other video extension you might recognise.
   4. Once you've found the link try pasting it into VideoGrabby online tool for downloading videos.
   5. If it does download a file but you can't seem to open it (for example file's extenion is .bin) try opening a file with a video player. Use VLC player. If it doesn't download, move to the step 6.
   6. Open the link from the page in new tab, right click on it and see if there's a option "Save link ass..." or "Download video".

   1. Right click the video you want to download and select "Copy video URL/Link".

    To download videos on iPhone is somewhat tricky but it's possible to do with the Documents app. Follow the steps below:

    1. Once you've installed the Documents app, copy the link of the video you wish to download (you can do it in the Youtube app).
    2. In Document, search for "savefromnet", select the first result.
    3. Paste the video url and select download.
    4. Once finished, the video will be in Documents downloads folder.

    This solution is very useful and has a high chance of success but you'll have to get technical.

    1. On webpage of the video you want to download, right click anywhere and select "Inspect element".
    2. Select the tab labeled "Network".
    3. Few links might show. Now play the video. As you play it, a link should pop up, ending with an video format extension (.flv or .mp4 for example).
    4. Right click that link and select "Open in new tab".
    5. The video will be opened in the new tab, right click on it and select "Download video".
