Ronald McDonald House

Your local chapter of Ronald McDonald House may accept donation of unopened Halloween candy. They will share the candy with their patients who include severely sick children and their families. These kids did not have an opportunity to trick or treat in their neighborhood. So instead you can help bring the trick or treating to them.

Buybacks are held at local businesses, traditionally but not limited to dental offices. With the goal of removing excess Halloween candy from kids while supporting our troops, the Buyback is a great platform to help multiple causes while promoting your business!

Participants buy back kids' Halloween candy at a scheduled event with cash, xylitol products, coupons, toothbrushes, creative exchanges - They can partner with local businesses to give away coupons for food, services, goods, etc. They can give away hygiene kits or coupons for their office as well!

To find a participating buyback in your area, use the ZIP code search at the top of the page to find an event close by. Contact the participant to find out the date, time, and details of their event. You may also ship your candy directly to non-profit Veterans's organizations.

Volunteers from Operation Shoebox include candy in their boxes too. They pack boxes all year long so they accept donation all year long.

Think Christmas, Easter and Halloween. Heat-resistant candy is best in warm seasons. They are located in Florida and you can ship your candy to them.
