ORIGIN Dove Olivia Cameron is an American actress and singer. She’s best known for her role in the series, Liv and Maddie, and the film, Descendants. Cameron was born Chloe Celeste Hosterman on January 15, 1996, in Seattle, Washington. Her parents Philip and Bonnie divorced when she was young. She has an older sister named Claire. Cameron spent her early childhood in Bainbridge Island, Washington. Her early interest in acting led her to various roles in local theater productions. Cameron moved to Los Angeles in her early teens. She attended Burbank High School and was a member of their Show Choir.

CAREER Cameron made her television debut in a 2012 episode of the series, Shameless. She followed up with guest appearances in ‘The Mentalist’, and ‘Malibu Country’. Cameron landed her breakthrough dual role as “Liv Rooney” and “Maddie Rooney” in the Disney Channel sitcom, Liv and Maddie. The show first premiered in September 2013 and was successfully renewed for a fourth and final season. Cameron played the lead role of “Kayla Morgan” in the 2014 Disney Original Movie, Cloud 9.
