Printing in Google Docs

It is possible to print directly from Google docs without saving your document to your computer first.

To print, just choose "File" then "Print."

Downloading Google Docs

After you have finished working on your document, you will probably need to download it. Downloading a document allows you to save a copy to your computer, and will allow you to print or email your document.

To download your document, click on "File" in the toolbar, and highlight "Download as."

When you select this option, multiple options will pop up. You will most likely need to download your document in the "Word" format. If you choose this option, your document will be downloaded as a Word document, which you can then open and edit in Word, if you choose.

After you have downloaded the document, you can print it from Word, or you can submit it electronically to your teacher through email or Schoology.
