What do you think he's doing to celebrate? Before you respond, you should probably know what age he's turning. Author J.K. Rowling took to Twitter to put an end to speculation as to how old Draco would be today. What was the big reveal? "Draco turns 35 today," the author tweeted in response to a fan. She continued, "I'm not invited to the party, mainly because I keep telling girls they're misguided to fancy him." Way harsh, Malfoy, not inviting your own creator to your party. To be fair, J.K. Rowling does have a long track record of publicly questioning fans who fancy Draco. In December, she published an essay on Pottermore in which she said that Harry Potter's nemesis "was not concealing a heart of gold under all that sneering and prejudice." Rowling wrote that she understood "Draco has all the dark glamour of the antihero," and that "girls are very apt to romanticize such people," but she has stressed time and time again that she doesn't want any part of such romantic notions.
