From Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)

Take KY-212 E from the airport and take the right entrance ramp to merge onto I-275 E toward Cincinnati/Lexington/Louisville. Continue on I-275 E for 3 miles then take the right exit ramp 84 onto I-71/75 S toward Louisville/Lexington. Continue on I-71/75 S for 12 miles then keep left to continue on I-75 S toward Lexington. Continue on I-75 S for 18 miles then take exit 154 toward Owenton/Williamstown. Turn right off the exit ramp onto KY-36 and travel 0.2 mile to arrive at the Ark Encounter parking lot on the left.

From Blue Grass Airport (LEX)

Take Terminal Drive east from the airport and turn left onto Man O War Blvd, intending to get into the right lane. Turn right onto Versailles Rd/US-60 E and continue for 1.5 miles to merge onto KY-4 N/US-60 W/New Circle Rd toward I-75/I-64. Drive 4.7 miles then merge onto KY-922 N/Newtown Pike via exit 9B toward I-64/I-75. Continue on Newtown Pike for 2 miles then merge right onto I-75 N/I-64 W toward Louisville/Cincinnati. Continue on I-75 N for 2.5 miles then keep right to take I-75 N toward Georgetown/Cincinnati. Stay on I-75 N for 37 miles then take exit 154 toward Owenton/Williamstown. Turn left off the exit ramp and travel 0.3 mile to arrive at the Ark Encounter parking lot on the left.

From Louisville International-Standiford Field (SDF)

Via Frankfort: Follow the signs out of the airport to merge left onto I-264 E toward Louisville/Indianapolis. Continue 7 miles then merge right via exit 19A onto I-64 E toward Lexington. Continue on I-64 E for 63 miles then merge right via exit 75 onto I-75 N toward Cincinnati. Continue 37 miles on I-75 N then take exit 154 toward Owen-Williamstown. Turn left off the exit ramp and travel 0.3 mile to arrive at the Ark Encounter parking lot on the left.

Via Walton: Alternatively, follow the signs out of the airport to merge left onto I-264 E toward Louisville/Indianapolis. Continue 10 miles on I-264 E then merge right onto I-71 N via exit 23A toward Cincinnati. Continue 71 miles on I-71 N and merge right onto I-75 S via exit 77 toward Lexington. Continue 18 miles on I-75 S then take exit 154 toward Owenton/Williamstown. Turn right off the exit ramp and travel 0.2 mile to arrive at the Ark Encounter parking lot on the left.

Note: There is a route from I-71 to I-75 through Glencoe/Dry Ridge via US-127 and KY-467. Be aware that this route has many winding roads and difficult turns.

From I-75 South

If you’re driving southbound on I-75, take exit 154 toward Owenton/Williamstown. Turn right off the exit ramp and travel 0.2 mile to arrive at the Ark Encounter parking lot on the left.

From I-75 North

If you’re driving northbound on I-75, take exit 154 toward Owenton/Williamstown. Turn left off the exit ramp onto KY-36 and travel 0.3 mile to arrive at the Ark Encounter parking lot on the left.



From the Creation Museum

Distance: 43 miles | Time: 43 minutes

Turn right out of the Creation Museum parking area onto Bullittsburg Church Road. At the stop sign, turn right onto KY-8 and take the right entrance ramp onto I-275 E. Continue on I-275 E for 10.6 miles then take the right exit ramp 84 onto I-71/75 S toward Louisville/Lexington. Continue on I-71/75 S for 12 miles then keep left to continue on I-75 S toward Lexington. Continue on I-75 S for 18 miles then take exit 154 toward Owenton/Williamstown. Turn right off the exit ramp onto KY-36 and travel 0.2 mile to arrive at the Ark Encounter parking lot on the left.


