Endless Dynamax Adventure
Overview
View Full-sizeYou aren’t stockpiling these ore for nothing!
Subscribe Now to Remove AdsOnce you’ve gathered a bunch of Dynite Ore (from Dynamax Adventures or Max Raid Battles etc.), what else are you going to do but spend it? To exchange your hard earned ore, speak to the backpacker towards the right, inside the Max Lair lobby. She’s carrying a variety of items ranging from “ho-hum” to “whoa”.
| Item | Required Ore | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Exp. Candy L | 1 | Increases a Pokémon’s experience points by 10,000. |
| Exp. Candy XL | 3 | Increases a Pokémon’s experience points by 30,000. |
| Dynamax Candy | 2 | Increases a Pokémon’s Dynamax Level by 1. |
| Wishing Piece | 3 | Activates an empty Pokémon Den (to trigger a Max Raid Battle). |
| Armorite Ore | 3 | Used for various services on the Isle of Armor (eg. Move Tutor). |
| HP Up | 2 | Gives a Pokémon 10 HP Evs. |
| Protein | 2 | Gives a Pokémon 10 Attack Evs. |
| Iron | 2 | Gives a Pokémon 10 Defense Evs. |
| Calcium | 2 | Gives a Pokémon 10 Special Attack Evs. |
| Zinc | 2 | Gives a Pokémon 10 Special Defense Evs. |
| Carbos | 2 | Gives a Pokémon 10 Speed Evs. |
| Premier Ball | 1 | A fancy Poké Ball. Normally acquired when you buy 10 balls from a shop. |
| Beast Ball | 150 | Has a low catch rate except for Ultra Beasts. Merely decorative. |
| Bottle Cap | 25 | Used for Hyper Training; maximises the IVs of one stat. |
| Ability Capsule | 50 | Gives a Pokémon their second Ability (if they have one). No effect if they currently have their Hidden Ability. |
| Ability Patch | 200 | Gives a Pokémon their Hidden Ability (if they have one). |
| «‹Page 1 of 2›» | ||
Of the lot, the main highlight is undoubtedly the Ability Patch, which is brand new to the Crown Tundra. This gives any Pokémon their rare Hidden Ability, if they have one. Originally, you had to go through all sorts of hoops to get their Hidden Ability. Granted, getting 200 ore is still a hoop!
If you’re confused about the Beast Ball, it really serves no purpose except for aesthetics. Back in Sun and Moon, they were used to catch Ultra Beasts, as other balls barely had an effect. But the Ultra Beasts–like all Legendaries–have a guaranteed catch rate in Dynamax Adventures regardless of the ball.

Welcome to our comprehensive strategy guide for Pokémon: Sword and Shield, the latest entries in the Pokémon video game franchise. Our guide also incorporates all the DLC, including the Isle of Armor and brand new Crown Tundra DLC.
In Sword and Shield, you explore the Galar region, based on the United Kingdom, alongside rivals Hop, Bede and Marnie, with the aim to dethrone the Pokémon League Champion.
The games introduce several new features such as Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing, functions that increase size and change forms of certain Pokémon; the Wild Area, a large open world with free camera movement; and raids with co-op battling. They also reintroduce features previously seen in Sun and Moon and Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, such as regional variants and roaming Pokémon depicted in the overworld.
