24 Jul, 2018 @ 12:37pm Easiest way to get stalker teeth? I need enameled glass for my prawn suit, and the blueprint for that require stalker teeth. After some research on these forums, it seems that the easiest way to get them to drop stalker teeth is to bait them into grabbing hold of metal wreckage, and then grabbing the teeth that breakoff from that. However, most of the posts that mention that method or the "tug-o-war tactic" are before the game was out of EA. So has the method changed, or is it still the same?

Originally posted by Mr Majestic: You can also quickslot a piece of metal wreckage, select it so that you're physically holding it into your hand, and swim up to a stalker to effectively hand it to them. You'll get bitten but I've gotten teeth this way. I think one of the audio messages discusses this method. But I've mostly found it easier to swim close to stalkers (trying to dodge them) as they picked up metal wreckage. Sooner or later one breaks a tooth and I grab it. The first kelp forest I tried wasn't productive but another one dropped them everywhere. < > Showing 1-15 of 24 comments

24 Jul, 2018 @ 12:40pm You can use your seamoth aswell, check the area for already dropped teeth and there is a noise when a stalker drops a tooth #1

24 Jul, 2018 @ 1:04pm Personally, I used the scanner room to find stalker teeth. The shallows is pretty much littered with them. #4

24 Jul, 2018 @ 1:16pm Like Hispanicgamer said. I use the scanner room. Just have all the upgrades and near where staplers are and have one tooth already to drop near the scanner room if teeth don't show up on the scanning list #5

24 Jul, 2018 @ 1:28pm Throw a bunch of scrap metal into a bunch of stalkers... they'll grab em and randomly lose teeth.Drag a grav trap through the Kelp forests, especially near piles of scrap metal. Use Prop cannon to drag it around. Can also drag through shallows but there's a lot of other stuff it will grab... easier with this method in kelp.Or like guys above said scanner works well, I just hate using them, they seem to slow my game down and I kind of like the "Hunt" for materials without a GPS...Or just check the ground near piles of scrap in Kelp, stalkers are always loosing teeth as they pick up and drop the scrap, remember physics makes things roll down hill and grass can hide things... #6

24 Jul, 2018 @ 2:56pm Use scanneer room for teeth.Be sure you have the scanner HUD upgrade, so you can see teeth all over the seafloor without needing cameras. Last edited by Der Liebe Frankie; 25 Jul, 2018 @ 6:08pm #7

24 Jul, 2018 @ 4:34pm Either use a scanner room, or pick up some scrap and drop it in a big heap, and sit and wait with your seamoth. Every 3 or so times the stalkers pick up the metal they will drop a tooth, that's often how i do it. On the outskirts of the kelp biome, the teeth are often easier to see. #10

25 Jul, 2018 @ 4:46am Scanner room with the HUD upgrade is GOD. I carry a full scanner room and power reactors around in my Cyclops and deploy as needed. Having this mobile scanning capability is huge. #12

25 Jul, 2018 @ 8:53am Breed a couple of stalkers in the alien containment unit (aka giant aquarium), release them near your base, "feed" them some scrap metal. Voilá, teeth farm. #14

I ask because I don't want to be in a situation where I hear the noise, but I end up thinking that it's something else. Last edited by Valden21; 24 Jul, 2018 @ 12:42pm #2
