Everyone will like this simple step by step lesson for learning how to draw an easter bunny. This easy easter bunny instruction guide is perfect for young kids looking to get started with drawing.

All drawing steps are included here which make it fun and simple to follow! Expect this drawing to last about 20 minutes, but the creative process can actually take longer if a background is drawn as well.

Materials

• Pencil
• Drawing Paper
• Crayons or Colored Pencils
• Black Marker (optional)
• Easter Bunny Drawing Printable PDF (see bottom of lesson)

We will arrive at a finished drawing of an easter bunny by creating one area at a time. This project will take 9 steps in total as we continue to draw each area which will get us closer to the finished artwork. The completed work of art will be detailed with color making it a drawing you will be proud to show off!

Time Needed: 20 minutes

1. Draw The Bunny’s Head

   

   Draw an oval shape for the Easter bunny’s head.

2. Add The Long Ears

   

   Add the bunny’s long ears to the head as shown where one long ear is folded.

3. Draw The Bunny’s Face

   

   First, draw two shaded ovals for the eyes and another oval for the nose. Next, draw two curves for the mouth. Then, add two horizontal lines on each side of the bunny’s face for the whiskers. Draw the bunny’s teeth as wll to make your drawing cuter!

4. Now Draw The Bunny’s Body

   

   Outline the bunny’s body below the head as shown. Since the body of the bunny is sideways, only half of the bunny’s chest is visible. To draw the bunny’s chest, add a curve inside the outline of the bunny’s body.

5. Next Add The Bunny’s Legs

   

   Next, add the legs of the bunny as shown in the picture. Be sure to add the bunny’s paws by drawing two small lines on each leg. Erase the lines from the body that cross through the legs.

6. Now, Draw The Tail

   

   Now, draw a fluffy circle attached to the bunny’s body as shown to make a tail.

7. Outline The Egg

   

   Next, draw an oval almost as big as the bunny’s body to add the Easter egg. Erase the lines from the body that cross through the Easter egg.

8. Decorate The Easter Egg

   

   Draw circles and random patterns as shown to decorate the Easter egg.

9. Complete The Easter Bunny Drawing

   

   To complete your drawing, finally color the Easter bunny’s fur with a blue crayon. Also, don’t forget to color the bunny’s chest and the inside of the bunny’s long ears with pink. Unleash your creativity and feel free to color in the Easter egg with any color you like.
