Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 loaf (1 pound) French bread

Instructions

  • Step 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Mix butter and garlic.
  • Step 2 Cut bread crosswise into 1-inch slices. Spread butter mixture over 1 side of each bread slice. Reassemble loaf; wrap securely in heavy-duty aluminum
  • Step 3 Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until hot.
