Shark Drawings from Berlin

Now students can learn to draw a shark with this easy to follow, step-by-step tutorial. It will show them how to get started with the basic overall body shape, and then add all those fins in just the right places. Students can even learn the names for them while they are at it. When the drawing is done, some careful coloring with black and gray crayons will all add up to a pretty impressive looking shark!

Materials

Colored Pencils or Crayons

A larger pack will offer more color choices.

Sharpie Markers Black

A permanent marker will give you a dark black color.

Pencils

Drawing Paper

Step by step Directions for a Shark Drawing

Time needed: 45 minutes

Easy Shark Drawing

1. Start the top of the shark body.

   

2. Add the bottom.

   

3. Continue the body towards the tail.

   

4. Add a tail.

   

5. Draw the eye, nose and gills.

   

6. Add the dorsal fin on top.

   

7. Add the pectoral fins below.

   

8. Erase inside fins. Draw waves in the water.

   

9. Trace with marker and color.
