    Limited Goods and Services

    When planning your trip to Dry Tortugas National Park please keep in mind there are very limited goods and services available. Visitors are required to provide their own food, water and all other supplies while at the park. The park does not sell food and beverages. You must be self-sufficient for your entire stay.

    Things to Know Before You Arrive

    • There are no restaurants, hotels, fuel stations, marine supplies, fishing supplies, or other gear available for rent or purchase on the island. Visitors must arrive with all gear and supplies.
    • The ferry concessionaire has a limited amount of snacks and sodas available for purchase onboard while docked daily at Garden Key.
    • Visitors are able to camp at the Garden Key primitive camping sites. Learn more by visiting our Camping page.
    • Private boaters are able to stay overnight on their vessels while anchored in designated areas. Learn more by visiting our Boating page.
    • While fishing at Dry Tortugas is an amazing experience, do not plan to "catch your meals". Careful planning is essential to enjoy the park safely. Visit our Camping page to view the recommended "Camper's Supply Checklist".
