Can some one please tell me how i can build an elevated road over another road.Example i have a simple 2 lane road. 1 each way.I want to run a 4 lane road elevated above it.The game keeps wanting to auto join to the bottom road and also has so many issues placing the supports other thank on top of that road. < > Showing 1-15 of 22 comments Lamecius (lulu) View Profile View Posts 11 Mar, 2015 @ 6:33pm you use the page up key.. and your brain... that how. #1 Taddl View Profile View Posts 11 Mar, 2015 @ 6:38pm Start to build your 4 lane road, press page-up, now click somewhere in front of your 2 lane road to place a ramp, now move your mouse cursor on the other side of the 2 lane road and keep going till it is green then click, now press page down and move your cursor into the direction you want the road to go next, as soon as it becomes green click again to place the downwards ramp.Now you can just keep building the road. #2 malos View Profile View Posts 11 Mar, 2015 @ 6:38pm Project : dude such rude what a wanker you are. Please read my post it was easy to understand that i already can raise them.I use the pg up but if you run the road over another it tries to force it down and connect with the road below.I turned off the snap on and tried all the forms for road building they all want to auto connect. btw i am talking about running in the same direction not just passing over it. no that was not aimed at you the person who posted before you #6 Mansen View Profile View Posts 11 Mar, 2015 @ 6:42pm You actually have to place a pillar before crossing a road - Just like in real life.And to make sure you el comprendo - Place the top of the ramp BEFORE crossing the road/rail/whatever, then place another one on the OTHER side and then finally ramp down again. #7 Lamecius (lulu) View Profile View Posts 11 Mar, 2015 @ 6:43pm look it real easy.. which is why I said to use your brain....just build the road section that you want to go over the other road.you can build roads in the air without starting on the ground. I have a long 2 lane road going straight say almost the length of 1 whole map section.I want to run a 4 lane road elevated for the majority of that 2 lane road but at some point before the end turn left. My issue is that running from before the 2 lane road all the way up and vering left in 1 go just gets the red something is in the way. Oh now I get what you wanted to do. Yeah I dont think that is possible, you could try to create something like that in the asset editor to use it ingame though. #12 malos View Profile View Posts 12 Mar, 2015 @ 3:03pm thanks,yeah i tried that but the same road rules apply. I wonder why the roads are so limited in this game. been a while since i played cim 2 but i was sure there was a lot more options. Kinda hope they release an update to have more choices on roads. That is one thing that cities xl has over this game.road limits are a bit of a deal i think stops from making a certain types of cities. i guess best i can do is wait for road mods. #13 Tubatic View Profile View Posts 20 Mar, 2015 @ 1:12pm Whoa interesting problem.
