EMF Reader Overview

The official description reads:

"The Electro Magnetic Field Reader is a handheld device used to detect fluctuations in electromagnetic fields left behind by paranormal activity. It will beep with increasing volume depending on the amount of activity nearby."

How To Use the EMF Reader

The EMF Reader is a piece of Starter Equipment and has 5 different color coded levels which indicate specific types of ghost interactions when a ghost is nearby. However only one color and level, red EMF Level 5, can be used as Evidence.

EMF Level	Color	Type of Interaction
1	Blue	No Interaction
2	Green	Interaction with an object
3	Yellow	Throwing an object
4	Orange	Manifestation
5	Red	Evidence

You can hold onto the EMF Reader and walk around the map to try while trying to trigger an interaction to get a reading or you can place the item on a surface or the floor if you've found the suspected ghost room.

The EMF Reader is not accurate, however, during Hunts as the LED lights will malfunction and flicker randomly, much like the Spirit Box and Flashlight.
