Creative, bubbly, and a lover of all things colorful and spiritual, Emily is one of the most vibrant personalities you can meet in Pelican Town. She's also one of Stardew Valley's eligible bachelorettes who you can choose to romance and marry. This guide will feature everything you need to bring color and positive energy into your life by getting closer to Emily!

Emily Basics

Emily lives at 2 Willow Lane with her sister Haley. She works at the Stardrop Saloon alongside Gus, is friends with Shane and Sandy, and is the object of Clint's secret crush. Her birthday is on Spring 27.

Emily Schedule

Emily's schedule is fairly straightforward. She works at the Stardrop Saloon from 4PM until 12:30AM every night. On Tuesdays, she attends a yoga class at Pierre's General Store from 1PM to 4PM. On Fridays once the Community Center has been restored, she hangs out in the Crafts Room from 10AM to 3:30PM. Every other day, she stays home until she goes to work.

Emily attends all festivals. She has an appointment at Harvey's Clinic on Winter 11. On Fall 15, if you have unlocked the Calico Desert, she visits Sandy to celebrate her friend's birthday. She may visit the Ginger Island Resort once it is open. On days she visits the resort, Emily will not work at her Saloon job.

Emily Quests

Emily is one of the villagers who can request items via the Help Wanted board outside Pierre's General Store. She also has a special Help Wanted request where she will ask you to talk to everyone in town. You will need to speak to every villager except the Dwarf, Krobus, Leo, Sandy, and the Wizard. The reward is 100 Friendship Points with all villagers.

In addition, Emily is involved in the following quests:

• Fresh Fruit - Spring 6, Year 2. Bring Emily an apricot. Grants 1 Friendship heart.
• Rock Rejuvenation - Special Orders Board, appears randomly, non-repeating. Bring Emily Amethyst, Emerald, Jade, Ruby, Topaz. Reward is a cutscene, 250 Friendship Points, 1000 Gold, and Sewing Machine furniture.

Emily is also involved in the Quest "Clint's Attempt," where Clint asks you to give Emily an Amethyst. This Quest rewards you with 1 Friendship heart with Emily.

If you marry Emily, her 14-Heart Event includes the Quest "An Errand For My Wife."

Emily Gift Guide

Emily loves gifts that are bright and colorful, and has a fondness for items that will help with her sewing hobby. On the other hand, she's not a fan of fish, so giving her any fish dishes is not the best idea.

Emily Movie Theater

Emily's only Loved movie is The Miracle at Coldstar Ranch. She Hates It Howls in the Rain and Mysterium, as she doesn't like scary things.

Her Loved Concessions are Kale Smoothie and Stardrop Sorbet.

Emily Heart Events

Because Emily started out as non-romanceable, but was made an option in a later update, she has an unusually high number of heart events (similar to Shane.) Like all bachelorettes, she has an optional 10-Heart event if dated and 14-Heart event if married.

Emily - 2 Hearts

Enter Emily's House while she is there. You will somehow be able to enter Emily's dreams while she is meditating, and she will realize that the two of you have connections.

Emily - 3 Hearts

Emily will send you the Salad recipe in the mail.

Emily - 4 Hearts

Enter Pelican Town at any time on a sunny day. Note that this event cannot trigger in Winter. Emily will befriend an injured parrot. After this scene, the parrot will appear in Emily's bedroom, and will move into the farm house if you marry her.

Emily - 6 Hearts

Enter Emily's House while she is there. Emily will show off her dancing skills. Either say "That was amazing" or say nothing and "slow clap" to gain 25 Friendship Points with Emily.

Emily - 7 Hearts

Emily will send you the Red Plate recipe in the mail.

Emily - 8 Hearts

You will receive a letter inviting you to the Mayor's Manor. After this, enter the Manor at any time (including on the same day you receive the letter.) Emily will host a fashion event and encourage some Villagers to try out new clothing styles.

Emily - 10 Hearts (Optional)

Emily's 10-Heart event is available ONLY if you have given her a Bouquet and asked her to date you. It is not required to reach Perfection unless you choose her as your love interest.

Emily will send you a letter in the mail asking you to meet her in the Secret Woods. After receiving this letter, you can trigger the event by entering the Secret Woods at 10PM or later. Note that you need a Steel Axe or better to break the Large Log blocking the Secret Woods. If you have not yet done this when Emily sends her letter, do not worry! The event will show up the first time you enter the Secret Woods at night.

You and Emily will camp together, and will wind up snuggling together after being frightened by a bear. The next day, she will send you a love letter in the mail.

Emily - 14 Hearts (optional)

If you marry Emily, you can trigger this event by leaving the farmhouse between 6AM and 8:20AM. She will ask you to bring her 200 pieces of Fiber, triggering a Quest called "Errand for your Wife."

Three days after you give her the Fiber, a cutscene will trigger when you enter the farmhouse between 8PM and 12AM. Emily will give you an outfit consisting of:

• Emily's Magic Hat
• Emily's Magic Shirt
• Genie Pants (blue)
• Emily's Magic Boots

Aside from the Genie Pants, none of these clothing items can be obtained outside of this event.

Emily Marriage

You can marry Emily by giving her a Mermaid's Pendant after reaching 10 Hearts. After marriage, Emily will move into the farmhouse. Her private room has space for sewing and her pet parrot, and she will sometimes meditate in a crystal garden in the nook behind the house.

After marriage, Emily spends most days at the farmhouse, but continues her job at the Stardrop Saloon on certain nights. On Mondays, she visits her sister Haley at her old house and checks out the Community Center before work. On Fridays, she goes shopping at Pierre's General Store and then to work.

Emily can give you a random gift in the morning. The options are Bean Hotpot, Cloth, Duck Feather, Refined Quartz, or Wool on rainy mornings, and all of the above plus Coffee or Omni Geode on rainy mornings. She can also make you dessert on rainy nights. The options are Blueberry Tart, Cookie, Chocolate Cake, or Rice Pudding. Emily does not give you a New Year's gift.
