Euphoria airs every Tuesday on Sky Atlantic in the UK, after finishing on HBO in the US last month. The entire series is currently available to stream online via NOW TV. Who plays Nate Jacobs?

Jacob Elordi plays villain Nate Jacobs in Euphoria on HBO and Sky Atlantic.

Nate is a football player and the school’s bully in the series who has an estranged relationship with his father Cal (played by Eric Dane) and a complicated relationship with his girlfriend Maddy (Alexa Demie).

In season one of Euphoria, he stalked and severely beat up Tyler (Lucas Gage), who Maddy accused of raping in her.

In episode one of the series, Nate discovered a video of his dad having sex with Jules (Hunter Schafer).

In response, Nate blackmailed Jules and threatened to report her for distribution of child pornography if she tried to expose his father.

In the final episode of Euphoria, Nate suffered a breakdown after his confronting his father, banging his head against the floor.

Speaking to Bustle, Elordi said: “It's years and years of building up and clenching his jaw and balling his fists... the only thing to do is to confront his dad, who is this enormous lie to him.

“We see Cal absolutely terrified of his son and what he's turned his son into.”

Speaking about season two, Elodri confessed he was not sure where his character would go next season.

He said: “I personally would like to have a bit of a change because it's super demanding to be so angry all the time.“

Speaking about playing Nate to The Hollywood Reporter, Elordi also mentioned: “You're always the bad guy when you're the jock or have toxic masculinity, but I think it's important to show that that person comes from somewhere as well.

“It's almost like an unspoken thing, and they're usually used as a trope to show a villain or a humorous character when really there is a real boy there who has fallen victim to toxic masculinity that has been passed down, and there's a reason why he is how he is.

“There's so much more thought that has to go into it when you're playing it. It's more of a person than a Hollywood trope.”

Who is Jacob Elordi? How tall is he?

Jacob Elordi is an Australian actor from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

He is 22-years-old and is 6ft 3inches tall (1.9 metres).

Before starring in Euphoria, Elordi was best known for playing Noah Flynn in the Netflix film The Kissing Booth, alongside Joey King and Molly Ringwald.

He is currently filming The Kissing Booth 2, which will be released in 2020.

Other acting credits include the horror film The Mortuary Collection, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Swinging Safari.

Elordi is currently modelling for Calvin Klien’s Fall 2019 campaign, alongside Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Odell Beckham Jr and Diplo.
