We chose Everly Joy. She was going to be rose, but she decided to be a Christmas baby. So naturally, we named her Everly Joy. It’s very fitting for her and it’s a fresh modern name for a girl.

My first Grandchild was born last September and my American Son and my English Daughter in law chose the name Everly Iris. I had never heard it before that and I just love it and it fits her so well. Beautiful, modern and yet so feminine sounding. I already sometimes call her Evie or Ev. They always call her Everly. Didn’t realize it at first , but my Grandmother’s name was Evelyn and there is just one letter difference in the names.

We chose the name Everly 14 years ago and had never heard of it before except for the Everly brothers. She was born in the spring and her name means singing , middle name Mae meaning bright flower. It has been so fitting for her and we call her Evie sometimes or even just Ev. It’s become more popular as the years went by but I am still so in love with it!

I liked Evelyn. I love classic names. However, I got to name our first daughter, Emma. And my husband said Evelyn sounded old (even though one day she will be). So he changed it to Everly, and I chose Rose so I still got my classic touch.

We choose the name Everly because we liked that it was unique and uncommon (my preference) and yet not too obscure (my husband’s preference). I like the name “Ever” but our last name ends in an “-er” so we ruled that out. Then found Everly and preferred that. One of the meanings is “of the grazing meadow” which we both found really peaceful. So Everly was our choice and fits our little one so well. We also received a lot of compliments on her name!

Same here! My grandma, born Dec 28, 1919, Evelyn Marie, I chose Everly Joy, my daughter was born December 23, 2023. I never met my grandmother, but my dad was so fond of her, that I’m sure he would’ve been pleased that his first granddaughter was named after her. Plus, his name is Steven, and there’s en Eve in her name like StEVEn.

I picked Everly (Joy) because it feminine, not overly used and not too unique that it sounds strange. I have no association to the name, I don’t know anyone or any one’s pets that are named Everly. Also I really like how it sounds with her middle name Joy which is after my mother who is named Joyce. We tried for four years to get pregnant and Everly Joy reminds me of the forever joy she will bring to our lives.

This was one of the few names my husband and I could agree on! Found it on the Ovia baby app. I thought it was going to be too common, but it’s not so bad

I originally heard this name at work and instantly liked it. We had two other name options, so this one was the third option to choose from. We decided not to name her until she arrived and knew what would fit her. When she finay arrived we knew Everly was the one 🙂

Started with Evelyn and still love it but was a bit too old fashioned. I love the flow of Everly mae. Sounds so beautiful and feminine.

My granddaughter was born two days ago and they named her Everly May. I’m really not too crazy about this name maybe because it’s different I don’t know but I have never heard of this name until my granddaughter was born

My husband and I had a boy name picked out that started with an “E”, but we couldn’t think of one we both liked for a girl. I was scrolling through Pinterest to find some inspiration when I came across Everly. I instantly loved it! It sounded sweet and pretty. I also liked that I was a little different but not so different that people would think “why did you name your kid that?!” I absolutely love the name, and I can’t imagine naming my baby girl anything else. The name fits her perfectly!!
