Ever since the first Hellcats were introduced in 2015, Fiat Chrysler has been on a tear, installing its 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 in coupes, sedans, SUVs, and now a pickup truck. But not all Hellcat-powered vehicles are equal, and not all of them make the signature 707 horsepower. Here's the ultimate power ranking.
1Ram 1500 TRX: 702 HP

The least-powerful Hellcat vehicle also happens to be the most ridiculous. The TRX's 6.2-liter engine is mostly identical to its more powerful siblings, but it has a much more restrictive air filter setup. That helps this off-road beast charge through all kinds of terrain without ingesting dirty air, but it also means slightly less power. The TRX is the only Hellcat-powered vehicle so far to make less than 707 hp.
2Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk: 707 HP

The idea of putting 707 hp in any family vehicle isn't one you'd call sensible. But when we heard about the Trackhawk, we knew FCA was totally off the deep end. Not content to sell ultra-powered muscle cars, the automaker decided that the world needed a 707-hp version of Jeep's 5400-lb luxury SUV. The resulting Trackhawk is unnecessary, obnoxious, and insane. That's why we love it.

The Trackhawk sets a high bar for overall absurdity. But the Durango SRT Hellcat may have it beat. After a few years of building the Trackhawk, FCA decided it needed a second family hauler with more than 700 hp. The 710-hp Durango SRT Hellcat hits dealers for model year 2021.
4Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat: 717 HP

When the 2015 Challenger Hellcat arrived on the scene, its 707-hp output was nuts. Five years later, it's still wild, but it's no longer the top dog. Despite 707 hp being more than anybody could need, FCA has released versions of this engine with even more power. And just to keep the standard car exciting, the company bumped up the power to 717 hp on Challenger Hellcat and Hellcat Widebody models for 2020.

Like the Challenger, the Charger initially launched with 707 hp and later got bumped to 717. It's still an insane amount of power.
6Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye: 797 HP

Nobody who drove an original Hellcat would call it underpowered. Yet Dodge upped the ante anyway, adding 90 hp over the original 707-hp Challenger Hellcat to create the rubber-shredding Redeye in 2019.

As we've come to learn, when the Challenger gets a power bump, the Charger version isn't far behind. For 2021, you can get a Charger with the bonkers Redeye package. Whether you opt for the thick-tired Widebody version or not, expect to shred your rears frequently.
8Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock: 807 HP

Just because the limited-run Demon is gone doesn't mean you're limited to less than 800 hp in your Challenger. Forever locked in an arms race with itself, Dodge yet again launched a new ultra-powered Challenger for 2021. It's called the Super Stock. And it makes 807 hp on pump gas. Lord, save us.

The limited-production Demon was built for the drag strip, and really, nowhere else. It came from the factory wearing drag radial tires. The passenger seats were optional. The engine made 808 hp on 91-octane pump gas. It couldn't get any wilder...
10Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: 840 HP (Race Gas)

...unless, of course, you filled the tank with race gas. With the appropriate factory-supplied ECU installed, the Demon could switch to an even more aggressive tune to take advantage of 104-octane race fuel, making 840 hp. In a street car. Under warranty. Don't assume that made it a safe exercise, though. With the proper launch, the Demon would happily pull a (tiny) wheelie off the line.
