Everything We Know About 1989 (Taylor's Version) - Official Charts
Maybe your like
But let's just back up for a second. Taylor has so far released two re-recorded versions of her first six albums - Fearless (Taylor's Version) and Red (Taylor's Version), both of which debuted at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.
In fact, with Red (Taylor's Version) debuting at Number 1, Taylor gained her 8th (!) consecutive UK chart-topping album, as well as now matching Kylie Minogue for female solo artists with eight Official UK Number 1 albums - the only female artist to have more is Madonna with 12. Taylor is also the first and only female artist to have eight UK Number 1 albums this century.
This means that expectations are sky-high for the rest of her re-recordings. And Taylor still has a lot of work to do; with Taylor Swift, Speak Now, 1989 and Reputation all still waiting for their (Taylor's Version). But with This Love (Taylor's Version) starting to impact the Official Singles Chart, let's re-cap everything we know so far about 1989 (Taylor's Version).

What is the tracklist for 1989 (Taylor's Version)?
The tracklist for the original 1989 is as follows:
1. Welcome To New York
2. Blank Space
3. Style
4. Out of the Woods
5. All You Had To Do Was Stay
6. Shake It Off
7. I Wish You Would
8. Bad Blood
9. Wildest Dreams
10. How You Get The Girl
11. This Love
12. I Know Places
13. Clean
With also these tracks included on the Deluxe Edition:
14. Wonderland
15. You Are In Love
16. New Romantics
So far, we've had Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version) and This Love (Taylor's Version) released. If Fearless and Red are any indication, the re-recording of 1989 will retain its original tracklist order, but will probably include more expansive From The Vault tracks.
What are the From The Vault tracks from 1989 (Taylor's Version)
So far, no From the Vault tracks have been confirmed for 1989 (Taylor's Version), but expect them to be taken from outtakes from sessions with the album's producers.
For 1989, Taylor worked with Max Martin, Shellback, Mattman and Robin, Ryan Tedder, Jack Antonoff, Nathan Chapman and Greg Kurstin. It would be sensible to expect to see at least a few of these producers show up in the re-recording with new/old tracks too.
Who has Taylor Swift been working with for 1989 (Taylor's Version)
Much like Fearless and Red's re-recordings, Taylor's main producer for the two tracks from 1989 (Taylor's Version) has been Christopher Rowe. But given that the original album's co-executive producer Max Martin proved to be such a pivotal part of the record in the first place, we would be remiss to expect 1989 tracks like Blank Space and especially Style without him.
Could Taylor also re-tool some older tracks with the help of newer collaborators like Folklore and Evermore architects Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner?
Red (Taylor's Version) also included some exciting new collaborations with the likes of Chris Stapleton and Phoebe Bridgers. For 1989 (Taylor's Version) we'd love to see Taylor throw some unexpected new voices into the mix - maybe a whole new generation of pop stars who have been inspired by 1989, like Olivia Rodrigo, Conan Gray and Maisie Peters? Or some more heavy-hitting names like Dua Lipa or Lana Del Rey?
You know that Blondie loves to keep us guessing...
