To evolve Sneasel into Weaville in Pokemon Legends Arceus, as opposed to Sneasler, you first need to get a Johto Sneasel. You’ll recognize it by the red “feathers”; the Hisuian version has purple ones. The rub is that you can only encounter a Johto Sneasel in the space-time distortions. What’s gonna spawn in those is always a toss-up, so good luck. Once you do manage to get one of these Sneasels, give it a Razor Claw and evolve it during the night to get a Weaville. Again, it’s gonna be a grind to catch one with the somewhat random nature of the distortions, so be prepared for that.

To evolve Sneasel into Sneasler in Pokemon Legends Arceus, unlike Weaville, you just have to catch a Hisuian Sneasler. This is an easier task, since you don’t have to go through all that nonsense with the distortions; the Hisuian version appears in the wild like a normal Pokemon. After you get your hands on one, give it a Razor Claw and evolve it during the day to get the Sneasler. Yes, unlike the Johto version, Sneasles from Hisui only evolve in the daytime. That is a pitfall experienced players can easily fall into. We’re used to them only evolving at night, so this is quite the curveball.
