Gaining Experience[]
Obtaining experience is based on several different factors. The list below shows how the total experience gained for each match is calculated:
| Factor | XP Earned |
|---|---|
| Won Match | 900 XP |
| Top 5 Finish | 300 XP |
| Time Survived | 3 XP per second survived[note 1] |
| Kills | 50 XP per kill |
| Damage Done | 0.25 XP per 1 damage point |
| Revive Ally | 25 XP per revive |
| Respawn Ally | 200 XP per respawn |
| First Kill of the Day | 500 XP |
| Killed Champion | 500 XP per kill of the champion squad |
| Kill Leader | 50 XP if the player had been the kill leader in a match at any point |
| Champion Squad | 500 XP if the player was the champion squad going into a match |
| Playing with Friends | +5% XP bonus to Time Survived |
| Playing with Friends (x2) | +10% XP bonus to Time Survived |
- ↑ Survival time is based on the squad as a whole, i.e. the length of time until the squad wins or is wiped out, or the player leaves the game.
XP Boosts[]
Battle Pass XP Boosts can be obtained as a Premium Battle Pass reward or as an Event reward. These add a 10% bonus to Top 5 and Win XP. They stack and apply to everyone in the player's party (up to 300%), and reset every season.[1]
Levels[]
The player will gain a level every set number of experience. The required experience scales up depending on the current level. Below is a table showing how much XP is required to reach the next level and how much more XP is required for the next level, compared to the previous level.
There are a total of 2000 levels, split into four tiers. After reaching level 500 in one tier, levelling up will reset the level back to level 1 of the next tier, up until level 500 tier 4.

After every 500 level you advance into the next tier and you level is reset to Level 1.
| Level | XP to reach next level |
|---|---|
| 58-500 | 18,000 |
After reaching Tier 4 level 500, you will have reached the level cap.
Rewards[]
Every time the player levels up a reward is given. This reward will always be 600, some levels will also give either an
Apex Pack or
Crafting Metals with the
600.
In total, 199 Apex Packs are available for free through level 1 - 500 Tier 1. Every subsequent tier will award a total of 115
Apex Packs.
After reaching level 500 Tier 4 (the current level cap) the player will still be able to earn 600 for every 18,000 experience.
Trivia[]
- The Level Cap has been increased twice:
- Before
Season 3 the level cap was Level 100, which also had a different badge design that can now only be seen for accounts exactly at Tier 1 Level 100.
- Before
Season 14 the level cap was Level 500.
