Description

Adiseal Adhesive Sealant 290ml Grey: Strongest in Independent Test

What is the best grey adhesive sealant for construction?

To bond or seal any material with a high-performance grey adhesive sealant, Adiseal grey adhesive sealant 290ml is the superior solution. It is proven as the strongest adhesive in independent testing by Ultimate Handyman, exceeding 3123 psi without the bond breaking—performing over 3 times stronger than competitor products. This professional-grade MS polymer works on dry, wet, or underwater surfaces, providing a flexible, waterproof seal that will not shrink or crack. Ideal for indoor and outdoor projects, it bonds everything from wood and metal to concrete, stone, masonry, brick and PVC plastic, and almost any other material.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Adiseal Grey suitable for lead flashing and roof repairs?

Yes. Adiseal Grey is the professional choice for lead flashing, gutters, and roofing. It provides an instant waterproof seal even in driving rain and is highly UV resistant. Unlike standard bitumen or silicone, it will not crack or lose adhesion over time, ensuring a permanent, flexible bond on lead, aluminum, and felt.

What is the bond strength of Adiseal Grey?

Adiseal Grey is proven as the strongest adhesive and sealant in independent testing by Ultimate Handyman. It reached a record-breaking tensile strength of over 3123 psi, performing over 3 times stronger than leading competitors. It was the only product tested where the adhesive bond did not break.

Will Adiseal Grey stain or bleed on natural stone or marble?

No. Adiseal Grey is a high-quality MS polymer that is specifically formulated to be non-staining. It will not bleed into porous materials like natural stone, marble, granite, or masonry. This makes it ideal for architectural projects and stone installations where maintaining the aesthetic finish is critical.

Professional Tip: To seal leaking gutters in heavy rain, apply Adiseal Grey directly into the standing water. It creates an instant waterproof bond and seal that standard silicones cannot achieve.

How To Use

How to Apply Adiseal Adhesive Sealant for a Professional Bond

Prepare and Clean the Surfaces

For the strongest possible bond, ensure surfaces are free from dust, grease, and loose material. While Adiseal works on wet surfaces, removing heavy debris first improves initial contact. If applying to metal, a quick wipe with a solvent-based cleaner is recommended.

Prepare the Adiseal Cartridge

Cut the top off the threaded plastic stud on the 290ml cartridge. Screw on the included nozzle and cut it at a 45-degree angle. For heavy bonding, a wider opening is better; for fine sealing, keep the opening small. Place the cartridge in the caulking gun / sealant applicator.

Apply the Adhesive or Sealant

applying Adiseal brick adhesive on brick

For Bonding: Apply Adiseal in vertical “strips” (beads) rather than blobs. This allows air to circulate for faster moisture-curing. Press the two materials together firmly. For Sealing: Apply a continuous bead into the joint. For underwater repairs, apply the sealant directly into the leak; the MS-polymer technology will displace the water to create an instant seal.

Tool and Finish the Joint

Smooth the sealant immediately after application. Use a profiling tool or a finger dipped in a soapy water solution. Adiseal remains flexible and does not shrink, so it will maintain its shape as it cures.

Allow for Curing Time

Adiseal has a high initial grab. Under normal conditions, it skins over in 10–20 minutes and is recommended 48 hours to fully cure.

Other colours Adiseal adhesive sealant is available include: White, Black, Brown, Ultra Clear.
