The Town of Berthoud is nestled against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountain foothills, just 40 minutes north of Denver and 20 minutes south of Fort Collins along I-25. Berthoud is the heart of the Front Range community.

The Town of Berthoud has always been a caring community where people look out for one another and people are passionate and involved. A sign of a happy community is when many of the children who grew up here – including my own – have moved back to raise their families. One of our favorite things about living in a small town is seeing people that you know everywhere you go. The steady growth in our business has required us to enlarge our current manufacturing facility on three separate occasions. Berthoud is centrally located between the campuses of Colorado State University in Fort Collins and Colorado University at Boulder. The Longmont and Fort Collins campuses of Front Range Community College are also within 20 minutes of Berthoud, making the town an important central hub for some of Colorado’s largest educational institutions.

With its expansive, scenic views and easy access to highways and major area arterials, the town is idyllic and convenient for businesses and retail.

Demographics

Berthoud is strategically located in the middle of the fastest growing region in Colorado. The town stretches into both Larimer and Weld Counties, adjacent to Boulder County. This agriculturally dominant northern Colorado region is projected to double in population by 2040. Currently, Berthoud’s far-reaching labor shed extends from the Wyoming border south to north Denver and east into Weld County.
