Myrtle Beach’s only seaside amusement park, Family Kingdom, offers more than 35 thrilling rides, including the Twist ‘n Shout roller coaster, the Slingshot Drop Zone, and more! Guests can also enjoy kid-friendly rides like the 1923 Carousel Ride, Frog Hopper and more. Covered dining areas for various group gatherings are also available. 1 or more people

Family Kingdom Amusement Park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, features more than 35 rides, including a thrilling wooden roller coaster and a 100-foot Ferris Wheel with unique round gondolas and panoramic views of the Grand Strand and the Atlantic Ocean. Splash down on the Log Flume, freefall 110 feet in Slingshot Drop Zone, bounce on the bumper cars, ride the "Twist n Shout" Steel Roller Coaster, or hit the Go-Kart tracks. For the young and young at heart, Family Kingdom Myrtle Beach offers some of the most memorable and adrenaline-pumping experiences on the Grand Strand. Families and Groups naturally love it for its excellent variety of spirited and wholesome fun. Locals and vacationers alike know it as the hottest spot in town for having the time of their lives. Entrance into the park is free, but a wristband is required to participate on the rides. If I do not ride do I have to pay?

No, if you do not ride, you do not have to pay. It is free to enjoy watching your family and friends at the park. You only pay if you would like to ride the rides.

Do I have to purchase a Family Kingdom Myrtle Beach wristband or can I buy individual rides?

Family Kingdom Amusement Park offers two great ways to purchase rides. You can buy a wristband that gives you an all-day pass to the rides, or buy individual tickets (available for purchase on site).

If I do not use all my tickets, can I use them on a future date?

Yes, when you purchase booklets of tickets, they never expire; you may use them at any future date that the park is open.

Can I ride rides at the amusement park without shirts and shoes?

No, for safety reasons, all riders must wear shoes and shirts while riding at the amusement park.

If it rains can I get a refund?

Family Kingdom does not close rides due to rain, however, in the event of thunder and lightning, attractions will be temporarily closed. Since the parks remain open, even on rainy days, they do not offer refunds or rain checks. They suggest checking the weather before entering the park.

Do I have to stay with my children?

Yes, all children under 16 need an adult chaperone with them at all times.

Can we leave the park and come back?

Yes, with a wristband, you can leave the park and return anytime on the same day. Keep your wristband on and show it to the ride attendant to re-enter.

Can we bring food and or coolers into the parks?

No, coolers are not allowed in the park. Family Kingdom Amusement Park offers a wide variety of onsite food concessions for your enjoyment.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets, except for service animals, are not allowed on the property.

What should I wear?

To enjoy our family atmosphere, clothing with offensive words or pictures will not be permitted inside our parks.

Is Family Kingdom Amusement Park wheelchair/stroller accessible? Can we rent wheelchairs/strollers for the day?

Yes, Family Kingdom Amusement Park is accessible. Family Kingdom has an informational/First Aid booth in front of the Log Flume Ride. You can rent strollers and wheelchairs at this location for the following fees: Strollers – $10.00 rental fee. Wheelchairs – $10.00 rental fee. ECV Wheelchairs – $25.00 Rental Fee and a $50.00 Deposit on Credit Card (ECV’s must be rented from the Amusement Park Office.) Valid State ID card is required for all rentals.
