Fan Asks Google If Vin Diesel Is White And Gets Crazy Response

A Reddit user asked Google if Vin Diesel was white

A Reddit user decided to ask Google what race the 48-year-old American-born actor was, typing in the question: "Is Vin Diesel white?" 

But Google's response was completely inaccurate, and the top hit appeared to make a joke out of the Fast And Furious star's ethnic origin.

The answer said: "Vin Diesel has the skin of a White man, the facial features of a Black man, an Italian American sounding first name, Vincent (his last name by birth), a Black voice and a very Black sense of cool. He is the perfect multiracial and multicultural hero."

The stunned social network user shared the result of his query on Reddit, and wrote: "I asked Google a very simple question. I did not get the answer I expected."

Google's answer was very unexpected

Other Reddit users found the response hilarious and joked about the weird answer.

One said: "To be fair, Google is just citing Africultures, but I can't help but imagine Google saying this in a fangirl voice. OK Google. Please stop."

Another added: "Off we all go to google the same."

Vin has reportedly said that he is "of ambiguous ethnicity", and he was born Mark Sinclair in Alameda County, California.

The Reddit user was stunned by the response

His mother Delora is Caucasian from English, German and Scottish descent but he has never met his biological father.

"All I know from my mother is that I have connections to many different cultures," Vin said.

The action hero was raised with his astrologer mother and African-American step-father, Irving H. Vincent, who worked as an acting instructor and theatre manager.
