March Madness is here but the real madness is at ESPN where they scramble to get their technology working so fans can access their bracket groups.

Everyone and their mother fills out a bracket for the NCAA Tournament. With the start of Tournament beginning today, there was a lot of excitement to watch games all day and monitor our brackets and where we stack up with our competition in our pools.

The problem is for those who are in a bracket group on ESPN, there was a problem users had accessing the groups they joined.

So if you were in an office pool and wanted to see how your picks stacked up with your colleagues, you were out of luck, and it got a lot of people upset.

ESPN tried to deflect the blame and attribute it to the number of people trying to access the brackets.

That’s not going to sit well with the die-hard fans who are trying to submit their bracket and are now out of luck because the site was down and wouldn’t let them.

Some users said they had success after deleting the Tournament Challenge app and downloading it again. The old, “unplug it and plug it back in” technique might be a remedy if you’re having issues.

It stands to reason that ESPN will get this all sorted out soon, but fans are getting impatient with waiting as they get angrier and angrier. For now, ESPN is seeing a lot of angry customers on the one day they needed all systems to be a go. Sad.
