How do I shop with IKEA Singapore?
- 1. How do I place an order online?
These are the general steps of your shopping journey with us on IKEA.sg:
- Choose your product, add to cart & amend the quantity
- Check order details
- Confirm your shopping cart
- Provide shipping & billing information
- Check and select items that require assembly*
- Choose payment options and finalise payment
- You will see the payment transaction status on your screen
- For a successful transaction, we will email you the order confirmation shortly
*Please note that certain items, such as kitchen and bathroom fixtures, as well as integrated light installations for certain furniture can only be arranged in the stores.
- 2. Why are there products on the website that I cannot buy online?
The majority of our IKEA product range is available in our online shop. However, only products with available stock will appear with the "BUY" button.
- 3. How do I place an order in-store?
These are the general steps of your shopping journey with us in the IKEA store:
- Check the price tag of the product for more information.
- Take note of the coloured part of the price tag for the pick-up location or to contact staff.
- Make a list of what you want with the pick-up location, or take a picture of the full price tag.
- For items that show a pick-up location on the tags, please pick them up at our Self Serve or Small Furniture Areas.
- For items that mention to "Contact Staff", please proceed to our i-counters to create an order and/or arrange delivery and assembly.
- Pay for your items or order at our cashier counters.

- 4. How can I check if a product is coming back in stock?
You may use the 'Back to stock alert' by entering your email address in the individual product pages on IKEA.sg online. Once the product is back in stock, you will receive an email notification at the email address that you have signed up with.
Alternatively, you may also check the stock available online and at each store on the individual product pages.
- 5. Why are some products not available online and in-store anymore?
Some products are available in our range for a limited time only, so we can make way for more new products! We launch new products every 3 months, so check out this page for fresh finds.
- 6. Are your prices listed online the same as IKEA stores?
The price of our products online will normally be the same as the in-store prices. However, occasionally, some price differences might occur in the event of in-store only or online-only promotions.

- 7. Can I place a corporate or bulk order?
The IKEA for Business team is established to assist all locally registered companies and government agencies with their corporate purchases and needs. We are familiar with e-invoicing and procurement processes via vendor portals such as, GeBIZ, Vendors@Gov, ARIBA, and SESAMi.

- 8. How do I amend my order?
No amendment can be done once the order and services are paid and confirmed. Re-attendance fee shall apply for the next delivery attempt. Please call us at +65 6786 6868 for any further assistance.

Payment methods
- 1. What payment methods do you accept online and in-stores?
Purchasing online? You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, eNETS, GrabPay, Google Pay or Atome.
Purchasing in-stores? Our cashiers accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, IKEA gift cards, and IKEA Family points (instant redemption).
Instalment payment plans are also available online and in-stores for OCBC, DBS, UOB and AMEX.
- 2. Do you offer instalment payment plans?
We currently offer an instalment payment plan (IPP) of 6, 12, and 24 months online and in-store for UOB, DBS, AMEX, and OCBC cardholders.
- 3. Are there any Buy Now Pay Later options available?
Atome Buy Now Pay Later is available as a payment option when purchasing online. Select Atome as your payment option on checkout, and split your IKEA.sg and IKEA shopping app purchases into three (3) equal, interest-free payments, or six (6), nine (9) or twelve (12) payments for a fee.

- 4. More information about Atome payment option
1) What is Atome?
Atome is a payment service provider that allows IKEA customers to split their IKEA.sg and the IKEA shopping app purchases into three (3) equal, interest-free payments.
2) How can I use Atome on IKEA.sg or the IKEA Shopping app?
When checking out via website, at IKEA.sg or the IKEA shopping app, select Atome as your payment method. You'll pay the first instalment at the time of purchase and the remaining two over the next two months.
You need to be at least 18 years old, have a valid Singapore-issued credit or debit card, and an Atome account.
3) Is there a minimum or maximum spending limit for Atome payment option on IKEA.sg or the IKEA Shopping app?
There is no minimum spending limit, and there are different maximum spending for each type of payment card:
- Credit card: SGD 3,000
- Debit card: SGD 1,000
4) Can I use Atome for in-store purchases?
Atome is only available for online purchases via IKEA.sg and the IKEA shopping app. It is not applicable for in-store purchases.
5) Can I return IKEA items purchased with Atome payment?
Yes, you can return items bought from IKEA Singapore, that you have paid via Atome. If you successfully return the item to IKEA Singapore, Atome will update the changes in your account accordingly.
6) Are there any additional fees when I use Atome to pay for my online purchases with IKEA Singapore?
Atome is completely interest-free. As long as you make your payments on time, you will not be charged any additional costs.
7) What happens if I miss an Atome instalment payment?
If you miss an instalment payment, Atome may charge a late payment fee. It's important to ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account to avoid any penalties.
8) What should I do if I encounter issues when I use Atome payment in my IKEA checkout process?
If you are facing issues after these conditions, you should contact Atome directly –
- After selecting Atome as the payment option,
- After clicking the "placed order" button, and
- After being directed to Atome’s payment portal
If you are unable to select Atome as the payment option on the checkout page, you should contact IKEA Singapore.
9) Who should I contact for Atome account inquiries?
If you have any questions or require assistance with your Atome account, please reach out to Atome's customer support team. They can provide you with the help and information you need for your account.
Delivery service
- 1. How much would delivery service cost?
Parcel Delivery — $5 when you spend above $50, $15 for orders under $50Order up to a weight of 15kg and a maximum length per item of 1.4 metres or a total volume of up to 80 litres.
Home Delivery — $35 per orderTell us what you want to buy — we'll pick and deliver it, with no minimum spend. Click here to see the details of the service.
- 2. Are there any other additional delivery charges that I have to take note of?
For Home Delivery, an additional flat rate of $20 will apply if there is no lift access/items can’t fit in the lift at the delivery address which is located in a building from the 3rd floor onwards. This service is applicable up to the 5th floor only. Please pay the fee directly to the service provider.
*With effect from 1 July 2025, only cashless payments will be accepted for ad-hoc drilling and staircase charges.
- 3. When will I receive my order?
Please note that during major holiday seasons*, please allow an extra 1-3 business days for processing time due to high peak of orders.*Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Deepavali, Christmas, etc.
Parcel Delivery: Delivery will take place within 3-5 working days from the date of order.Home Delivery: Delivery dates can be booked typically within 7 working days from the date of your order in stores and online, subject to availability by time slots. During peak season, we seek your kind understanding as delivery lead time may be longer due to the surge in order volume.
- 4. Where does IKEA deliver to?
We only deliver to addresses within the mainland of Singapore and Sentosa Island, excluding the non-delivery zones listed below:
1. Changi Airport Transit Lounges2. Paya Lebar Airport Communication Centre3. Offshore islands (except Sentosa)"
- 5. What are the delivery restrictions I should be aware of and how do I inform IKEA of any restrictions?
Kindly note that delivery to condos or gated residences is not available after 5 PM on weekdays, and the whole day on weekends and public holidays. Please ensure that the relevant permissions are obtained from the building/residential management for the chosen delivery date.Please call us at +65 6786 6868 for assistance, 24 to 48 hours prior to the planned delivery date.
- 6. Can I order online and pick up my order from a store?
This option is currently not available.
- 7. What happens if I am not at home to receive my order?
Parcel Delivery: If you are not at home during parcel delivery time, our delivery partner will leave your package in a safe location near your premises. You will be notified by SMS.
Truck Delivery: Please call us at +65 6786 6868 to reschedule a new delivery date. A Re-Attendance fee shall apply for the next delivery attempt.
- 8. Will I be notified before delivery?
For truck delivery, you will receive an SMS message before your scheduled appointment on the day of delivery. If you are not available when the delivery driver arrives at the delivery address, you will recieve a call from the driver.
For parcel delivery orders fulfilled by GoGoX, you will receive a SMS on the day of delivery.
- 9. How can I track my order?

Assembly service
- 1. How much does assembly service cost?
The assembly fee is 20% of the original product retail price for all other furniture that requires assembly, and 10% of the original product retail price for sofa and sofa bed items.
This service does not include electrical and plumbing, and is only available for truck deliveries and also includes the installation of tip-over restraints for safety purposes (click here to find out more about securing for safety purposes).

- 2. Is there anything that I need to prepare for assembly?
Please ensure there is ample space cleared for our assembly team to efficiently set up your furniture. This will ensure a smooth and hassle-free installation process.
- 3. How can I arrange a separate assembly trip after delivery?
Should you wish to organise a separate assembly trip after delivery, the call-out fee of $35 will apply. Please call us at +65 6786 6868 for rates.
- 4. Are drilling services included for my purchase?
Drilling service is included for items that you have opted for assembly. Please note that a drilling charge of $5/hole will be applicable, for Product(s) that require only wall mounting and no assembly.
Returns, exchanges and refunds
- 1. What is the 365-day return policy?
It’s okay to change your mind! Bring back your unassembled items with the original packaging and your receipt within 365 days for an exchange or refund.
We regret that we are unable to accept returns of assembled goods, cut fabrics & blinds, live plants, goods damaged after leaving the IKEA store except due to manufacturing defaults, items on sale, products from the AS-IS corner, bed linen, and items made to your specific requirements, such as kitchens.

- 2. How do I return or exchange an item?
Please contact us for assistance; you may opt to send us a text message via WhatsApp too. You may also find out more information from our Return Policy prior to getting in touch with us.
If you would like to return your products to one of our IKEA stores, please bring along a printed copy of the tax invoice you received via e-mail after your purchase. Otherwise, we will not be able to process your requests.
- 3. What do I do if an item from my delivery is missing or defective?
Please contact us for assistance, or proceed to one of our IKEA stores with a printed copy of the receipt or tax invoice you received via e-mail after your purchase.
- 4. What would happen if the product I ordered online ran out of stock?
Due to an unexpected surge in demand, our system may not have ample time to refresh the availability, potentially resulting in the product you ordered running out of stock.
Please be assured that keeping you informed is our priority. If we need to postpone your order, we'll contact you directly by phone. Should your item be refunded, we'll promptly notify you via SMS or email.
- 5. How soon will I receive my refund?
Refunds will be done via the initial payment mode and may take up to 15 working days. Please note that the refund amount is subject to the conditions of the products.
Spare parts
- 1. How does the spare parts service work?
At IKEA, we seek to offer our customers the possibility of obtaining additional spare parts if necessary, subject to the availability of stocks. Find out more on how to order small spare parts here.
- 2. How long does it take for my ordered spare parts to reach me?
Our delivery time for spare parts is estimated to be around 14 working days.
- 3. Can all spare parts be ordered with this service?
No, it is only possible to order the components that you can find at IKEA.sg. It is necessary to know the part number found in your product's assembly manual. If you do not have a copy of the assembly manual, you can download a copy on the product information page at IKEA.sg.
- 4. Can furniture parts (such as shelves, drawers, etc.) be ordered through this service (such as shelves, drawers, etc.)?
No, this is only for spare parts for assembling the furniture, (such as screws, nuts, etc.). Find out more here.
- 5. Can replacement parts be ordered for discontinued items?
As long as these components are available at IKEA.sg, you will be able to place an order for the replacement parts.
- 6. Is there a limit to the number of pieces I can order?
The limit is 50 pieces per order when you make your request online. If you require more pieces, please contact us for assistance or visit the Customer Service area at your nearest IKEA store.
- 7. Is there a delivery fee for ordering of spare parts?
Delivery is free of charge for spare parts.
- 8. Can I track my spare parts order?
You cannot track your order in real-time, but you can know if your order has already been sent through the link you received in the confirmation email of your order.
IKEA Family
- 1. How do I become an IKEA Family member?
You may sign up for free membership at any of the IKEA Family kiosks located around the store, or through our member's portal. To register, you would need to be at least 18 years old (based on birth year) and have a local mobile number and mailing address in Singapore.Participation is subject to our T&Cs here.
- 2. How can I find out more about IKEA Family benefits?
You can refer to the IKEA Family Benefit page to find out about all the exciting perks and rewards!
- 3. How do I cancel my membership or withdraw my personal data if I do not agree with the Personal Data Protection Notice?
You can request to cancel your membership by getting in touch with us through this form. Once submitted, your membership will be cancelled within 5-7 business days.
- 4. How do I access my IKEA Family eCard?
Log in to the member’s portal and click on the “eCard” tab to access it.
- 5. Where can I use my IKEA Family card / eCard?
You can use your IKEA Family card / eCard at the checkouts, Swedish Restaurant, Bistro, Food Market and IKEA SG online store.Swipe or scan your IKEA Family card / eCard every time you make a purchase to earn points or enjoy IKEA Family member prices.
- 6. What do I get by joining the IKEA Family programme?
Every $1* spent at the IKEA stores or IKEA.sg entitles you to 1 IKEA Family Point.Points earned in the current year will expire 2 years later on 31 Dec, based on the year the IKEA Family points are earned. Example:Points earned on 15 Nov 2020 will expire on 31 Dec 2022.Points earned on 31 Dec 2021 will expire on 31 Dec 2023.
- 7. What can I do with my IKEA Family points?
With every 100 points accumulated, IKEA Family members can offset $1 from their purchase (min. spend of $1) instantly when checking out at the IKEA physical stores only.
- 8. How do I get my 3x Birthday IKEA Family points, and does my online purchase qualify for the 3X birthday points?
Get 3x IKEA Family points on the first purchase made at IKEA stores, IKEA online store, IKEA Restaurant, Bistro or Swedish Food Market on your Birthday Month.For online purchases, points will be credited when order status is ‘Ready for Delivery’, not on the order date. If any purchase is made at physical stores between the ‘Ready for delivery’ date and the order date, that purchase will be considered as the 1st purchase of the month instead.
- 9. How do I check the IKEA Family points that I have accumulated?
You can check your point balance by logging in to the member’s portal or at any of the in-store Family kiosk.
- 10. Will I earn IKEA Family points from my purchases online?
Yes, earn 1 point for every $1 spent. Please indicate your IKEA Family membership number (16 digits) in the Address page as you are checking out. Your account will be credited with the points once your order status is ‘Ready for Delivery'.Please note that only IKEA Family card issued in the same country of delivery will be qualified for points. IKEA Family Terms & Conditions apply.
- 11. Can I redeem IKEA Family vouchers or points on IKEA.sg?
IKEA Family vouchers and points are only redeemable in the physical stores (Alexandra, Tampines and/or Jurong).

- 1. How can I reset my password?
On the login page, click "Forgot your password?" and enter your email. You will then receive a new password in your inbox.
- 2. I'm trying to reset my password, but why am I unable to proceed?
At IKEA, we make it a requirement for your passwords to be strong and meet specific complexity criteria. This ensures your accounts remain secure. To successfully reset your password, the password must meet the following criteria:1. 8-20 characters2. No more than 2 identical characters in a row3. A lowercase letter (a-z)4. An uppercase letter (A-Z)5. Number or special character
- 3. Why have I not received a password reset email after clicking on 'Forgot Password'?
A password reset email with your Temporary Password will be sent to your email ID within 5-10 minutes of you clicking the 'Forgot Password' button. Sometimes, the email may land in your Junk or Spam folder. If you don't see the email in 5-10 minutes, please call us at +65 6786 6868 for any further assistance.
- 4. My account is locked due to multiple incorrect password entries. How do I unlock my account?

- 5. What happens to the products saved in my Shopping Cart, Favorites List, and Planners when I reset my password?
Please be assured that all your products saved in your Shopping Cart, Favorites lists and Planners will remain unaffected. You may continue to shop as usual after resetting your password.
- 6. Is it possible to shop without logging in and resetting my Password?
Yes, you may proceed to shop without logging in and resetting your password, as a Guest user. You may come back anytime later to reset your password as a one-time activity when you want to log in.
- 7. What settings or software do I need on my computer to view IKEA.sg?
IKEA.sg works with all commonly used browsers, on both PC and macOS platforms. If you experience any issues during your visit to our website, please upgrade to the latest version.

- 4. Are there shuttle buses going to the IKEA stores?

- 5. Why are items sometimes out of stock?
Every effort is made to maintain the availability of items shown in the brochures, leaflets, newsletters, website, and showroom. Still, due to popularity and supply issues, some products may not always be available. Generally, we can estimate when a product should be back in stock. Because IKEA products are manufactured cause delivery delays.
- 6. How do I check if products are available in-store?
You can check if products are available through IKEA.sg before visiting the stores.Alternatively, you may call our hotline at +65 6786 6868. Lines are open daily between 10 AM – 11 PM.
- 7. Does IKEA have support for shoppers with physical disabilities?
To make shopping more convenient and comfortable for persons with disabilities, we provide the following at our Tampines and Alexandra stores: • Privilege parking lots near the store entrance • The loan of wheelchair services • Wheelchair-accessible restrooms • Wide pathways in the store for easy manoeuvring for those using wheelchairs
