Dave Starsky View Profile View Posts 31 Jan, 2018 @ 4:27pm Far Cry 3 ubisoft save location I need to uninstall fc3 for now to save space for another game on my ssd..If I uninstall will the save be lost ?I got the game direct from ubisoft and not through steam..Is there a cloud save and or a file saved location, I'd like to backup the save if possible..Cheers < > Showing 1-5 of 5 comments sylvexite View Profile View Posts 1 Feb, 2018 @ 12:27am There is a cloud save I think, yes. #1 -=SOF=-WID99 View Profile View Posts 1 Feb, 2018 @ 1:50pm 420 i think???? if you need to back up all your Uplay saves ..here is how https://support.ubi.com/en-US/Faqs/Details/kA030000000enCFCAY?name=how-can-i-manually-back-up-my-save-gamesteam version uses folder number 46 for fc 3 steam and Uplay only versions always use differing folder numbers how can you tell you picked the right one play the game save and Quit open that folder X?? as i dunno what drive you installed uplay to ... :\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegamesfor save games .. see which one matched the date and time you just played FC 3 thats your save folder for FC 3 save files are pretty small you can make backups all the time and fit em on a usb thumb drive then justy copy and paste the saves right back into your game .. note you must disable the Uplay cloud save sync option in uPlay ..and yea you can make multiple save file backups on a USB thumb drive Last edited by -=SOF=-WID99; 1 Feb, 2018 @ 1:58pm #2 Det. i have windows 10 PRO on both my PC's the save file location is the same its even the same on my oldest PC here that still has Win 7 Ultimate on it and the same folder on my Windows 8.1 laptop its not in C :\ program data .. its C:\ program files X 86 /ubisoft / ubisoft game launcher /save games / a folder with a long series of letters /46 <-----------------is the folder number for FAR CRY 3 STEAM version a uplay only version uses the same folder number > 46 that folder holds your saves also back up your GamerProfile .xml file \that file is in C :\ documents> MY GAMES > FAR CRY 3 if you wish to play the SP dlc and own FAR CRY 3 deluxe edition that file holds a lockstring that is needed to play it after it has been activated .. make the file read only for best results when you archive it Last edited by -=SOF=-WID99; 30 Sep, 2022 @ 1:37pm #5 < > Showing 1-5 of 5 comments Per page: 1530 50 Far Cry® 3 > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 31 Jan, 2018 @ 4:27pmPosts: 5 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
