What will Fate: The Winx Saga season 2 be about?

The official synopsis reads: "Fate: The Winx Saga follows the coming-of-age journey of five fairies attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld where they must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence. From creator Brian Young (The Vampire Diaries), Fate: The Winx Saga is a live-action reimagining of the Italian cartoon series Winx Club by Iginio Straffi."

Season two will have eight episodes instead of six (more eps = more drama), and promises to delve much deeper into the stories of Aisha, Stella, Terra, and Musa as they learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries... and monsters.

It also sounds like we're going to be seeing some brand new faces at Alfea, their magical boarding school. Plus, thanks to the latest First Look trailer, we now know that Flora (from the animated Winx Club series) will also be appearing in season two. “The six episodes in season one only scratched the surface of this incredibly rich world and the powerful fairies who inhabit it," showrunner and Vampire Diaries creator Brian Young said. "As Bloom's story continues to evolve, I can't wait for you to learn even more about Aisha, Stella, Terra, and Musa! And you never know who might show up at Alfea next term…”

Who's going to be starring in Fate: The Winx Saga season 2?

All the Fate: The Winx Saga fairies will reprise their roles. So that's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Abigail Cowen as Bloom, Hannah van der Westhuysen as Stella, The Stranger star Precious Mustapha as Aisha, Eliot Salt as Terra and Elisha Applebaum as Musa, Sadie Soverall as Beatrix, Freddie Thorp as Riven, Danny Griffin as Sky, Theo Graham as Dane, Jacob Dudman as Sam, Ken Duken as Andreas and Rob James Collier as Silva.
