“The Big Chill” House

1 Laurens Street, Beaufort, South Carolina 29902

Tidalholm is a very special location. It’s the Antebellum mansion which was the setting for Hollywood films "The Big Chill" (1983) and "The Great Santini" (1979). Built in 1853 along a bend in the Beaufort River (an intercoastal waterway) and located in Beaufort's historic Old Point neighborhood famous for its live oak trees and Spanish moss. Tidalholm has been restored and landscaped in 2019 and still available for filming. Contact this film-friendly location today to book it for your next film or television production.
