I bought my first cow and after awhile it says "mr. milk (name of my cow) is looking a little thin"do you guys know how to feed animals? i thought the fed on their own. guess not. < > Showing 1-8 of 8 comments PhilkIced View Profile View Posts 21 Mar, 2016 @ 4:35am You need to put hay on that long wooden feeder on the topmost part of the barn (inside), you can buy hay from Mernie and store it on a silo, cutting grass also gives you hay if you have a silo. #1 Proteus View Profile View Posts 21 Mar, 2016 @ 4:38am On non rainy days (outside of winter) you can also open the large gate of the barn in order to let the animals roam freely and eat the grass outside #2 Mauri View Profile View Posts 21 Mar, 2016 @ 4:46am I you were like me and cut aaaalll the grass on your farm before getting a silo, buying hay from Marnie and filling the silo like that will be expensive. I suggest buying grass starters from Pierre and planting them around your farm to let the grass grow (just make sure if your animals roam free they don't eat it all). #3 Dasani View Profile View Posts 21 Mar, 2016 @ 4:49am thx all, but can you grow grass in the winter, that's the season im in, right now. #4 PhilkIced View Profile View Posts 21 Mar, 2016 @ 4:51am Nope, you can't, you'll have to buy hay from Marnie, each animal will eat 1 hay every day. #5 itsp1k3 View Profile View Posts 21 Mar, 2016 @ 4:52am

Why would they? He'll just have to buy and feed them from the inventory, there is no reason to let the animals starve. #7 Dasani View Profile View Posts 21 Mar, 2016 @ 5:04am thx all #8 < > Showing 1-8 of 8 comments Per page: 1530 50 Stardew Valley > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 21 Mar, 2016 @ 4:34amPosts: 8 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
