This Halo Infinite multiplayer Fiesta guide contains all the information you'll need to excel in the slot machine game mode and the Time-Limited Event that goes along with it. Halo Infinite has only one team-based 4v4 variation of Fiesta right now, playable on 7 playlist multiplayer maps.

Fiesta is a returning game mode in Halo Infinite multiplayer which pits two teams against one another in a Slayer variation that gives everyone randomized weapons and equipment.

How to Play Fiesta

Fiesta is a variation of Team Slayer, where two teams of four compete for kills on an Arena map. To win, your team will need to score 50 kills before the enemy team does. The mode also has a 12-minute timer that will call the match for one side or another if it elapses.

During this game type, all the standard rules about starting loadouts and spawnable weapons assigned to each map are thrown out the window. Instead, weapon racks will be empty and no pickups are available anywhere on the map.

You'll spawn with two random weapons and a random piece of equipment and if you want to change out your weapons for new ones, you'll need to scavenge them from fallen players or trade them with teammates. Alternatively, dying will respawn you with newly randomized weapons and equipment.

During Fiesta, the normal map rules for which weapons appear are disabled, so you'll be able to find the S7 Sniper on Bazaar and Power Weapons on Aquarius.

Tips and Tricks for Fiesta

  • Familiarize yourself with as many weapons as possible before participating, and know their strengths and weaknesses. The last thing you want is to end up with a set of weapons in your hands and not know how to use them when you have no choice.
  • Keep in mind that enemies could spawn with any weapon and be prepared for the worst. All it takes is a lucky SPNKR spawn for the enemy to turn the tables, so play strategically and don't go running into a room headlong before you know what you're getting yourself into.
  • Scan the floor for better weapons and equipment. With the chaos of the Fiesta game mode, there will be lots of deaths and therefore, plenty of things to loot. If you don't like the hand you've been dealt, look for something better!

  • Share weapons with your team! If you got two great weapons, but a teammate was dealt a raw hand, don't be greedy. Hold down the Switch Weapon button to drop one of your weapons and help your ally stay alive.
  • Use randomization to your full advantage. One of Fiesta's best features is that you can get weapons and equipment that wouldn't normally spawn on that map. This means you'll be able to snipe on Aquarius or use the Grappleshot on Streets. Try to find interesting ways to use these new tools in ways the enemy might not be expecting.
