Go out to the kitchen, down the stairs and inside the little room here. After the scene grab the Phoenix Down and Survival Vest from the chests then head for the Eidolon wall. Speak to Morrison at the entrance. Have him heal you then peek inside. You’ll get an Exploda and an Elixir from the moogles then talk to Mog. Then choose to go save Eiko. Amarant | HP:8985 | AP: 9 | | Vulnerability: N/A | | Steal Items:Poison Knuckles, Ether | Dropped Items: Tent | Have Zidane come into this battle equipped with Auto-Potion and High Tide. Only attack Amarant when he stands in the center; he’ll say “Here I go!” before doing so. Steal to get the Poison Knuckles and then when Zidane trances take Amarant out with the highest Dyne you have available. After the fight return to Eiko’s house. If you want you can rest by talking to Morrison. Then go find Eiko in the small room downstairs. After Eiko decides to journey with you and you get the Memory Earrings go to where Vivi was thoughtful last visit. You should find an exclamation point here and Zidane will follow Dagger’s voice to the dock. The next morning you’ll gather at the entrance. Amarant will join your party and you should set out for the Iifa tree.
