Bungie just released a trailer for the Edge of Fate and the intro to it has a really nice sounding song but I can't find it. Not sure if they made it themselves(doubt it) or if it's just hella obscure. If anyone knows it that'd be rad if you could help. I couldn’t make out most of it. at first I thought it was the beach boys, it sounded very beachy, 60s but maybe that’s just because I was at a waterpark. I haven’t ruled it out. It could be a beach boys song. (It played on the speakers. so I was thinking it was a popular song)The lyrics said something like “The bass (beat?) is bumping/pumping/ thumping”(though I remember it being bumping “the drum is/drummer’s (drumming)? It reminded me of “I should have known better” by The Beatles. I know this is very vague but I’d appreciate the help :]

I think there was another song on the album that was a video on MTV, but not sure. I'm trying to find a song by a hippie pop group that did covers of old jazz songs (like "Mr. Christopher Columbus sailed the sea without a compass) in the late 60's - early 70's. The song I'm looking for included the lines: "You can knock me up and knock me down and even hit me... black both my eyes but Daddy please don't you leave me. I don't know what genre it is, I saw it in an edit of Douma, and I couldn't hear some of the song because of his japanese voice. But, I either heard (sung by a woman) "Love don't mean love to me now" or "Love won't mean love to me now", then one more line before the song starts going like "ahh-ah-ahh-ah-ahh...ahh-ah-ahh-ah-ahh" and that just repeated for the rest of the song. Everywhre I search the lyrics I come up short so I would greatly appreciate help!!!
