Fios TV Voice Remote

How to program your remote control

Steps to pair your Fios TV Voice Remote with Fios TV One or Fios TV One Mini.

  1. Point the Fios TV Voice Remote toward the Fios TV One you wish to pair it with,
  2. Press and hold the Play/Pause and “O” buttons at the same time,
  3. Release the buttons when the blue light starts flashing on the Fios TV Voice Remote,
  4. When the blue light stops flashing on the Fios TV Voice Remote, your Fios TV Voice Remote is connected, paired and ready for use.

Steps to control your TV or Audio using your Fios TV Voice Remote.

After you’ve paired your Fios TV Voice Remote to your set top box, HDMI-connected TVs and Audio systems should automatically be detected and be controlled by your Fios TV Voice Remote.

  1. Go to Menu > Settings > Voice control > Fios TV Voice Remote > Program Voice Remote > Automatic Setup
    1. Once the automatic setup completes you’ll see a “Success” message in the top right of the TV screen,
    2. If this does not work for you, please skip to step 2.
  2. Go to Menu > Settings > Voice control > Fios TV Voice Remote > Program Voice Remote > Manual Setup
    1. Select your TV or Receiver Brand and Model and follow the steps,
    2. You will see a “Success” message in the top right of the TV screen when the setup is complete.

Program or replace your remote control using the Interactive Media Guide (IMG) Using your Fios remote, you can program, replace your remote, or fix Fios TV issues, following the steps below: Menu > Customer Support > Top Support Tools > select your option and follow the on screen prompts

How to program your remote control

  • First, you will need to unpair your old remote. On the Fios TV+ device, press and hold the button on top of the device for 15 seconds.
  • You will see an on-screen menu. Press the button on the top of your device to navigate to the “Unpair remote” menu option.
  • Once on the “unpair remote” item, press and hold for 3 seconds.
  • Once the old remote is successfully unpaired, you will be prompted on-screen to pair your new remote.

How to program your remote control

Please read all instructions before starting.

  1. Press the OK and FiOS TV buttons at the same time. Release both buttons and the red light on the remote will blink twice and stay on.
  2. Next, press and release the Play/Pause button once every second until the remote finds the right code and your TV shuts off. When the TV shuts off, stop pressing the Play/Pause button.
  3. Press the TV Power button on the remote to turn the TV on. If the TV turns on, press OK to save.

TV won't turn on? Press the Channel Down button once every second until it turns on. Then press OK to save.

  2. Locate the 3-digit TV code for your TV. Press the OK and 0 buttons at the same time. The red light on the remote will blink twice and stay on.
  3. Next, enter the 3-digit TV code. The red light will blink twice and then stay on.
  4. Press and release the Channel Down button once every second until the TV turns off. When the TV shuts off, stop pressing the Play/Pause button.
  5. Press the TV Power button on the remote to turn the TV on. If the TV turns on, press OK to save.

  4. Press the TV Power button on the remote to turn the TV off. If the TV turns off, press OK to save.

  1. Turn on your TV and Fios Set-top box
  2. Press and hold TV key for 6 seconds. Each device key will light up, then the TV key will remain on.
  3. Press the Power button on your remote. The device button will blink three times then turn off.
  4. Press the Up arrow button once every second until the TV turns off.
  5. Press OK to store the code in your remote.

  • 3 Press and hold the OK and 0 (zero) buttons at the same time
  • 4 Enter the remote code for your TV that you located in step 1
  • 5 Press and release the Ch+ button until the TV turns off. You can also back up by pressing the Ch- button
