Fireproof Lizard Roundup is one of the 76 Side Quests in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It starts at the Southern Mine located in the Eldin Region, just South of Goron City.

Speak to Kima at the Southern Mine. He's the only non-Goron in the area, and he's sneaking around, looking for Fireproof Lizards. Link will need to deliver 10 to him to complete the quest. Luckily, there are a ton of these critters all over the mine!

When Link approaches, they will run away and disappear, so put on some stealth armor (Sheikah Set), drink a Stealth Elixir, or press down on the left control stick to slowly approach them.

Use your Camera to snap a picture to add Fireproof Lizard to your Hyrule Compendium and set it to your Sheikah Sensor to make the search even easier.

If you don't feel like chasing them, you can purchase them from Beedle at South Akkala Stable, but he only carries two at a time and does not restock very quickly.

Once you have gathered 10, deliver them to Kima to receive your reward: Flamebreaker Armor.

Thereafter, Kima gives 20 Rupees for every three Fireproof Lizards you give to him.

Consider holding on to them to upgrade the Flamebreaker Armor at the Great Fairy Fountains in the future.

You need at least two pieces of the Flamebreaker Set to be completely impervious to the heat further north towards Goron City and eventually on to Death Mountain.
